What everyone going on about?
This is just News Ltd bullying Hayne because he spoke out about Kent and his horrible grub nature. I'd like to see Hayne go to war with News, win the Dally M then either not turn up to the awards or humiliate News in his acceptance speech. Like all players should.

Surprise, surprise the big cat got an injury to keep him outta the Parra v Titans match next week.

Something will give. I hope its Neil Henry dropping the ponce pre-Origin. Let Loz pick him from reserve grade.

Jarryd Hayne was only on the field for 28 minutes today, but in the short time he was on he didn't do anything. In fact the Titans started playing better and took the lead when he left the field. For a million a season he has to pick up his act. Don't be surprised if his form drops and his market value plummets he decides opt into the final year of his deal in 2018.

Titans aren't a big enough club to handle him. His brand power when he signed exceeded theirs, and his signing lifted the Titans brand.

Needs to be at a Broncos, Storm, Bulldogs, Roosters sort of club where super stars are nothing new and never more famous than the club. Storm not in there for "massive club" more so their culture. But Hayne wouldn't last a pre-season under Bellamy.

It's official the Titans are out of finals contention and Hayne was average today. He did score a try, but he made some errors at critical times and the Tigers just looked more enthused. I'm wondering where does the Titans go from here, and is Hayne part of the long-term plan?

I'm think it's fare to say the signing hasn't be a success. Hayne hasn't shown enough bang for his buck with the exception of occasional hit performance. I agree that he probably gets scrutinized a lot for his performances but his salary warrants those expectations to some extent.

Unbelievable the hype he gets, serial loser, made 1 finals campaign with the Eels and won 1/9 Origin series lol

In my opinion if you pay 1 million plus a year for any player he needs to be able to consistently be good if not great and when you're struggling the player in question stands up and guides the team. This is what the stars of "lesser teams" do every week. Players like Inglis, Cherry-Evans, Taumalolo and Tedesco are consistently the best no matter what happens.

Apart from a few flashes of brilliance this year Jarryd Hayne has been quite average. He'll pull his finger out against low end teams, score a double, do his Hayne plane thing but when the team is down in the trenches and getting mauled (Even by a Tigers outfit that the Titans should easily be beating) he goes missing.

The Gold Coast did sign him for next year but to my knowledge were the only team that was interested. I think Hayne is worth about half of what he gets, I think the Titans will offer him something like 750k next year whilst the rest of the NRL don't offer anything and Hayne will just leave to Rugby Union.

You can't blame the poor Titan's roster for Hayne's performances either. He had 1 good game in Origin this year, 1 bad one and 1 okay/solid one. He's nothing like he was three years ago and that's a shame.

I truly believe his heart is still at Parra and it probably has bearing on his performances. He was an Eels junior through and through and loved the club. Imagine yourself changing teams even as a viewer; you wouldn't have the same love for the game.

Imagine being a Titans fan knowing he is being paid 1m a season and he goes missing more often than he has a right too.

The best we as supporters of the game itself can do is communicate to Hayne that he is not being given the opportunities he deserves in RL. If he watched Phil 'The Power' Taylor win the Darts this morning it might be something for him to consider

Loved the club so much he left to play a sport he played on playstation once. Parra should not go anywhere near him. They are going fine without
