Jarryd is the first player to score a perfect 10 in a match on two occasions - in the RLW rating system.:D

He has received a 10 for his match v Warriors. He also received one in 2007 for his match v Broncos at Parra.

It is hard to imagine he wont do it again one day!

He deserves it to.
Not only doing the flashy stuff but supporting the forwards and taking hitups.
Jarryds doing a graet job.

Yeah, because those journos all know what they are talking about, hey?

(NOTE: This is not an anti-HaHa post but instead an anti-journo post in line with my previous dismissal of the Dally M)

Really? I thought he's had heaps better games than the Warriors one this year. I wouldn't have picked that game of all games for the perfect 10.

tbh hayne did a few amazing things but I thought he was quiet lethargic from the back, submitted a bit more. While he played well that definatly was not his best game in the last 6 weeks.

TBH I've always thought to get a perfect 10 , you musn't have made any mistakes , and this is the first game I've ever seen any player actually not make a mistake , (as well as playing to a high level) Would've thought his Canterbury game would be the Bo Derek

Agree. I thought he had a greater impact in the Dogs or Storm games. Odd. :?

Imo he won us the game in the first 20 minutes, he was unstoppable, if he was fit enough and played the whole game at that pace we would have won by 100 and he would have run 600 metres.

I don't agree with the "10" either because he was so buggered after the 20 mins that it took him the rest of that half and 10 minutes of the second half to get involved again.

it's beginning to become like Wally Lewis in origin, whenever Hayne runs on the field and does one brilliant thing it's an automatic MOM without considering his or anybody else's overall game.

Do we assume that he's short price for Dally M fullback and possibly the gold gong ?

I think Sterlo has also got 10 from RLW twice -

1986 - Openning game at Parramatta Stadium against St. George
1987 - vs Easts at Parra Stadium

I just bought RLW and it says Hayne is only the second person to score 2 perfect 10's, the other one was none other than Parramatta Legend Peter Sterling.:thumb

How did Andrew Johns not get more than that?????? He won the game many times for them by himself!

I still think Thurston will win the Dally M Player of the Year - with Hayne an outsider. I certainly wouldnt be taking any short odds on Hayne winning it.

Fullback of the year - he will win, without doubt.

I would consider taking the short odds on Hindy winning, the Provan-Summons medal again. :D

I think that's a bit harsh. I remember him being involved in a break after the 20 minute mark where we nearly scored after a kick ahead, but the ball was kicked again over the dead ball line. Just because our scoring slowed down after the first 3 tries doesn't mean he wasn't getting involved (although I concede he wasn't AS involved). We had a massive lead... he didn't really need to be going nuts.

He set up or was involved in 4 of our 7 tries, was safe at the back, showed some brilliance and didn't make an error.

I think that is worthy of a 10 - although I have seen many other performances worthy of a 10 in the past.

It's even worse - she just has to run on to the field these days for people to start exploding.

The only way anyone could have given another player MoM over the past few weeks is if they were determined not to give it to Hayne.

Even against the Warriors I was ready to give my 3 pts to Fui, then along comes Jarryd and blasts that notion out of the water.
