Until the club can operate without losing 3 million a year, this is a short term stay of execution. The club has to sort its cost base, increase revenue, get a return on the stadium that sits idle for the vast majority of the year. In short, it needs some decent leadership which has been in very short supply....

Oh and up yours ikin and Kent.

Too bad the food in all feros places is trash. They fix that and they’ll be unstoppable.
100% shaggy, I've told them as much too. In saying that, they also run a few restaurants and the food is good.
I would look to them for consultancy.

Yup, catering to families is the go. If there is plenty of stuff for the little ones to do, the parents will sit there all day and spend their money. Panthers is the perfect example. Heaps for the kids to do there, Timezone, Ifly, aqua golf, parks with swings and climbing shit, all alongside a shitload of various little restaurants. Go there any time during the weekend or of an evening throughout the week and the joints packed.

I thought carch may have been on a holiday literally . A surf trip or something, could be wrong.
As for the DeBellin thread, I too received a weird warning. Saying I was presuming his guilt. All I did was offer an example of what opposition fans would say if he was to play before his court case was heard. Admittedly it was crude as f**k but there was definitely no presumption there. If I'd been warned about the image it created in someone's mind I'd have got it.
Cest la vie.

I got a warning for naming names. Not sure where or who I named?

100%, particularly with the bluescope housing / greenhills developments etc being built nearby. There really aren't many places catering well to families in the shire. Places like tradies give it a go....but be nice if we could do better than bunging the kiddies behind a glassed off section. Feros places do have a good vibe to them....they seem to be very clever with their space design....could do worse than copy / partner with them. But I suppose now the leagues club will be in competition to the development!

Not exactly true! Apart from breakfast It is quiet early in the week. However they do offer a lot for families. It is not cheap though.

Well listening to old Todd today I think it was very important to sort things out financially now. Seems a big push for ‘geographical footprint’ is coming.

Toddy and Petes objectives are as obvious as dogs balls. You only have to look at their pathetic ruthless decision to cut our girls and Souffs girls teams out of the Chics comp. (and leaving the weak understrength Eastern Suburbs Channel Nein team 'geographically' in )

They'll still have a good crack at getting us out of the comp. I just hope we are high up on the ladder at the end of the year. Having our finances secured for the immediate future has stuffed them for the time being. They can't throw that card at us.

The scribes of doom will continue to down ride us ....... so fharrke em all.

Nah the broadcasters want more product...Sharks going nowhere. Perth and second Brisbane side sets it up for 2 conferences perfectly... Sydney conference...play each other twice = 16 games. Play out of Sydney sides once =9 games Total 25 games. Out of Sydney conference does it in reverse. Top 4 out of each 9 team conference plays semis. Allows for all the Sydney derbys to be played plus Brisbane derbys etc.
