It’s a very simple equation for me, if the Sharks are relocated, I no longer support RL.

In fact, money, technology and gambling has killed any enjoyment of most professional sports.

I am quickly turning into one of those old guys where “Back in my day....”

Let’s be honest, modern day music is absolute utter garbarge, modern day sports are an unequal playing field.

I’ve not lived local to the Shark since I was about 2 years old.

If the club was moved I’d probably care less about the NRL then I do now. Short of moving to Brisbane I would t be going to games. Adelaide and Perth just too far away.

I’d not be a member and maybe take a very casual interest in the game. I think many other interstate fans would be the same as me.

Some people actually think a second Brisbane team would get 40k fans a week like the Broncos (who don’t get that much except for a couple of games a year). Where would all these new fans come from??

No brainer for me.
The Perth sharks arent a club l'd support.

Call it whatever you want but once a club moves to a new location its a new club.
Teams are established by their location and identified by it.

Man Utd
Collingwood
New York Yankees
etc

The heart and soul of our club, its DNA lies nowhere near Perth.

I would not identify with any Sharks that played away from sydney. I would rather the club folded.
We won our GF.
Id be happier with that scenario.

The Broncos get great crowds as they have been one of the most successful clubs in the NRL over the past 30 years.

The Gold Coast which is just down the road gets no crowds and has barely any members despite being being made up of the same type of people who it is assumed would turn out for a new Brisbane club.

Yeah, if relocated / folded I’d:
- scrap membership and make a concerted effort to never spend a cent on rugby league again.
- maybe take a passing interest in watching a couple of games here and there on tv, but the passion for every aspect of the game would very likely be gone forever.
- be done with this forum. So maybe not all bad.

How the f**k did Rothfield get that email that he printed in the Sunday Paper.

It would have had to have come from a Sharks Board member right?

If true what f**king hope do we have when we have dumbass board members giving that grub Rothfield ammunition to bury the Club in the papers.

FMD!

So much of what happens at this club seems like there are people pulling the strings for collapse. Not sure who though.

Both the Sharks and the NRL leak like sieves. Any Sharks official who feels big leaking to Rothfield hates their own club.

Geez Rothfield loves destroying the club that he supposedly loves who needs enemies I say
Luke Lewis called him out over this bullshit email. I stopped watching NRL360 because of this turd.
Every time I saw this decrepit old wanker hunch over like a primate who can't sit up straight, looking over his glasses and his head bobbing up and down like Virgil from the Thunderbirds and sweating like he has a carrot jammed up his arse I wanted to put my fist through the TV.

Sydney Swans...oh wait.

Watched that “controversy corner” on fox just now.

Here is Rothfield justifying himself leaking the spreadsheet.

Then he copped the questions...well why shouldn’t the sharks be stripped of the premiership??

Then he had to defend us & explain why not.

Doesn’t the dumb merkin know he is treading on very thin ice!

So the NRL no surprise have different rules coming to teams surviving.

1. So if you are a sydney club, there is no more handouts, you need to run the club without fault no screw ups, no p*ssing away money or goodbye.

2. Clubs outside of Sydney bar Gold Coast, for example Cowboys, we are hearing need money are basically broke, but the NRL will give them a handout, and if they blow it another handout, where is Beattie & Greenberg here, where is sloth, if that club cant cut it financially they should be relocated, its good enough for sydney clubs to perform but out of sydney there is different rules, next they will be given a sombero rule.

This comp is a joke, when we are gone so will i be
