Basically, rumblings around the Players Association are that they aren't happy with the fact that the new cap will be 1.5 million lower then what they asked for. Therefore, there is talk that the All Stars game will be boycotted.
Not that THAT is a huge deal, but if they do and yield no results, the regular season could be next. I'll tell you one thing though, if they want any credibility at all, they better not ask Israel Folau and SBW to put a face to it.

TENSIONS are set to reach breaking point today with the ARL Commission expected not to budge on their $5 million salary cap for 2013 - $1.5 million less than the figure the Rugby League Players Association is demanding.
Kangaroos skipper Cameron Smith will join Jarryd Hayne, Tim Mannah, Robbie Farah, Mick Crocker and Clint Newton in a bid to plead the RLPA's case for a cap rise next year and beyond.
Players are demanding they receive their fair share from the game after the $1 billion five-year TV deal was struck by the ARLC in August.
Any cap increase would pave the way for Israel Folau to return to the NRL, and allow Manly to register the contract of Brett Stewart.
Cap stoush may lead to All Star boycott
Stewart's teammate Jamie Lyon yesterday supported an All Stars game boycott if the ARLC refused to play ball, a drastic option which had been discussed by senior players and revealed by The Daily Telegraph yesterday.
ARLC acting chief executive Shane Mattiske said yesterday that a $5 million cap was set back in March so clubs could plan their rosters for 2013. Mattiske said the RLPA had sought a higher figure, and it was something they would discuss today at Rugby League Central. Canterbury CEO Todd Greenberg will represent the clubs.
"We've got a $5 million cap that we're working to, and we're very focused now on agreeing whether there's any addition to that money for 2013," Mattiske said. "We also want to lock in the years beyond that."
