He says it's something he's dreamt about since he was a kid. When was that, two years ago?
I wish he had a name that would put the fear of God into the opposition.
I had a metal work teacher called Mr Magetski.
Any takers on what his nickname was?
We should make some player nicknames up and if we use them often enough they may hit the media..

I hope this kid doesn’t become another in the long line of over rated juniors produced by this club
I've seen enough of this kid Troy to suggest he has a better footy IQ than what people credit him for.
I saw him put on a blind side dart when the D switched off. It fooled everyone, especially me :)
Another time I saw him get on the outside of the opposition before he got the ball to run 40m to score.
That last example is expected from an experienced Valentine Holmes type player....or he's simply a naturally gifted footy player.
I wish the NRL, the state gov and fox /9 would show more games on tv like what NSWRLTV did. It could be part of your fox subscription.
If they did, it would be another way to grow the sport because kids from a player's school would either go to the game or watch it on tv, this may see more youth participation in the sport.
I used to love watching the schools play on tv too.

I don’t put much stock in highlights against those lacking in pubic hair.
Do it in Flegg and KOE and we can talk.
Galvin had none when he was part of a HM premiership win in '22.
There are exceptions to the rule. A few more players coming thru with him too who have some good highlights reels.

He wasn’t our 5/8 in that team.
Yeh of course, Mason was. I was referring to highlight reels and being a gun. Still didn't have hair down there :)
Now with all the shite going on with his contract I couldn't care less what happens to him, I really don't. I'm so over being let down.

Yeah well I’ve been saying this for well over a year.
Benji and Richo have a lot to do with this.
They let this fuggin child do whatever he liked last year and still lost him as he doesn’t trust them to develop him properly.
Wests Tigers management doing Wests Tigers things….

A bit harsh Troy because we gave him the opportunity to learn from JL.

But we certainly threw him into first grade on a whim and a prayer last year.

I just couldnt see how we were going to afford everyone, on his new contract without some collateral damage.

I fancy will be at least double his freight now, but theres not a lot of halves about and somd club will pay overs plus.

Benji learnt from Tim which is to reject all the distractions and play "your best side" no matter what.

Jusf my thoughts.

We obviously low balled him and Satan (im) was furious.

Never start with your highest offer.

Hes a superb player, but Ponga is not worth 3 or 4 factory players in his stead.

Pretty much hey. We needed something to stop the train wreck and Galvin had an immediate impact.

Still I agree somewhat with troy in that he has been gifted.
Ideally he should have been spoon fed opportunities into the NRL and play more KOE. But we needed halves.
In the end we nearly had to beg his parents for him to stay.
Now the parent refuse to even chat with Richo.
I keep drawing back to Galvin's teachers pet comment he made about Luai, who wasn't impressed. Showed no respect to the multiple GF winner and international.
That had spoilt brat written all over it and now these latest contract crap smells like he's untouchable.
He's still a boy and thinks like one.
He needs a mentor, not a manager as such.
Hence why Luai was perfect, but no, not good enough for his development.
So in essense, he's sorta going to sign a $1mil+ development contract ha ha.
Clubs pay that sort of money for a half to win a GF, not develop him, but we were.
