The choke is on, make no mistake my friends.

Gather round and sing the song.

"Oh when the merge, oh when the merge, oh when the merge go choking in....."

:lol::lol:

I'd be more worried about my own mob if I were you.

The reality is when you play any of the top 8 teams in such a tight competition you are going to win some and lose some.

Quick everyone join up while there is still time;

Recruiting now

Maybe something wrong with the link. I clicked on it to sign up and couldnt find the forms.

Get in conatct with Cam Smith. He's got two or even maybe three forms that he's filled in. Sure he'd have a spare in one of the drawers in his new kitchen.

Failing that, check in GI's boat or Matt Hansens spare room.

I still don't buy the 09 finals series as a choke.

They basically came up against the two form sides in the comp. and were outclassed on the day, far from a choke.

Don't let that get in the way Pete. True as it is, its just no good for the activity on the forums.

They started to lose steam against the bunnies.. then last night was not that great.. see what happens next game and if they still don't show up to play then the yearly dragon flame out can be confirmed

We did show up Fiddy. We're just not on song at the moment. We could have won that game.

Still six weeks to go & am happy for everyone to write us off.

I am not writing you off - but you have to admit for the general public it's hard for them to not come to that conclusion.

I can see the Dragons losing next week and major questions being asked before a few thunderous performances before the finals puts everyone on their toes.

I can't think of one premiership winning side in the last 10 years that hasn't "slumped" around this period before hitting their straps 3-4 weeks outside of the finals. Broncos in particular have always done this.

The reality is, teams simply can't be the best all year round, it just depends on when you're the best if you get to hold up the trophy or not. That was our problem last year we were playing great footy up until round 22 then the wheels fell off. The last 2 months we've just been in cruise control and snagging mostly wins along the way. I expect the intensity to lift in the next 2-3 weeks.

I hope not since I'm travelling up for the game! As I've said before I'd rather lose a couple of games now then in a few weeks like last year. I do agree however Pete about last year...Parra and Brisy were definitely in form.

the broncos and other teams will have a big chance if its wet , the rain douses the dragons fire :).
look over the last few week the weather been wet and slippery.

If the weather is fine the dragons will breathe fire

Agree totally with that.
I had always thought the Broncos game was a massive danger game for us.

I hope so - despite what people say constantly about the dragons i actually think they can be entertaining to watch play... not everything is about being gambling the ball around the park. But they better pick it up soon...

The rain was on yesterday and last night.

If I put on my weather man cape, next Sunday will be fine and sunny.

Standard Wayne Bennett teams for the past 9 yrs really. Even in 2006 when he won the comp the Broncos had a shocking July / august.

They just need to develop a second man play on the left hand side of the field and their troubles should be over......
