Standard Wayne Bennett teams for the past 9 yrs really. Even in 2006 when he won the comp the Broncos had a shocking July / august.

So true, I posted this a couple of months ago. Take out 2006, and look at his teams records.

He is a great man manager. He develops players by simplifying their game, its very good. His structures in defence, and his teams relentless support work in attack is what has made him successful.

However, I remember Vossy saying this a while back, take away the 2006 premiership, the record for the last 8 games for teams coached by Wayne Bennett has been pretty terrible in the last few years. Except for 2008 which was a decent finish.

Those are pretty significant stats there IMO. I think the players feeling the effects of rep footy through out the year played a role in it, but it is something the coach needs to address.
