Hi lads

Just wondering where hendderson is....

is he injured or is Heremaia the first choice hooker and with Mckinnon on the bench he just aint good enough

personally i though he was a damn good player, will he get much of a chance this year??

I think Henderson is still injured. But Heremaia has been going very well. So Henderson will have a fight on his hands, trying to get back into first grade.

Heremaia is certainly our first choice hooker at the moment.

Heremaia would have to get injured for Hendo to have a chance to make the team again IMO. He's hit form and found some serious Mojo. Good luck to him. I like Hendo when he's in form, but he hasn't been for a while now.

Henderson was injured for the first three rounds, but he's available this week. But Heremaia is playing out of his skin and deserves to stay.

Henderson was electric in 2008, but had a poor 2009. (Which Warriors didn't?) Hopefully he finds great form, though, because we'll need it if we lose Heremaia.

Henderson is playing for the Vulcans this weekend.

I dont rate Hendo that highly, he has a tendency for brain explosions and his constant arms in the air/crying to the ref pisses me off,, a bit..

Hendo has been a bit like Rovelli (dare I say it, I signed up in 2006 under his name) - started off his Warriors career really well, but last year he tapered off. If Heremaia continues to play as well as he has been playing, there's no room for Hendo in the 17.

Impossible to shift Heremaia at this stage.

Having said that I haven't written off Henderson just yet. 2009 was a terrible year for the majority of the team. Alot of people praising Heremaia now had him written off before the year started, I think Henderson should be given the same benefit of the doubt until he's had the chance to get on the field and prove otherwise.

It may take some time for Henderson to get a sniff, but I can't see Heremaia playing 80 mins every week for another few months. That's a tough ask for anyone.

Henderson was a poor buy, he has no vision, skill or speed to be a threat at 9. Hereiamia is doing a good job. I think Alahana Mara is even above him in the order. he may be a bit small but has good vision, can kick and quick so will threaten on the back of go forward.
i remember too many times when Henderson would stuff up at times he tries to win it all thinking only of himself.

He was showing some form in '08 to be fair. Unfortuantely he was terrible last year. If he can get some of that early form back IMO he'd be a reasonable backup if needed. But in any case Heremaia has really come of age, good news for us and good luck to him.

Will struggle to get back in surely.

His best bet is to have a Hinchcliffe role and cover hooker and the backrow off the bench.

Yeah, this has been what I've been saying for the last few seasons really.

I wouldn't go as far to say that he's rubbish as he has served us well at times, but I think he's probably a tad surplus now or at least good for depth.
