Well that’s great news Taipan.

If the restaurant was shyte it would’ve been another reason for people to not go to the league’s Club.

The owner/mgr of Shaaaa Keeee whatever, a guy in his 50s spent some time talking to me, ensured the service was A1 and the food IMO just as good as the King Wan.Then that's just me.Still the one who must be obeyed gave it the thumbs up and she is a mean cook.
The area also refurbished.Looks like McAlteer the new guy running the Licensed club has got his sh*t together, which is what the club needed decades ago.

My view FWIW, once the club gets a couple of restaurants similar to the RSL set up, overlooking Woolooware Bay,you will have to build a wall to hold people back.
Dated areas don't sell these days.

Now perhaps they can do some advertising. I wouldn’t have known it was new except for here.
Plus some people need to know that it’s actually alright and not the shit that king was used to dish up.

I had to organise a search party to get the phone number for direct call to the restaurant.I know I could have just asked the club, but I prefer riding directly.
What I had was as good and if not better than King Wan.
Beef Chinese style was tender as a baby's bottie.
Fried rice was non greasy just perfect.
Satayed chicken was again just right.
Salt and pepper calamari was not the greasy type.
OK I'm hardly a cordon bleu chef, but the food passed with flying colours ,on the 3rd night of its existence.

Dunno, maybe King was starting to cut corners,got complacent or had unhappy staff.

People vote with their feet, if food and/or service is sh*thouse,it's bye bye America Pie.

I know people who live by that website and if something is rated really well they can’t help themselves in checking it out.

Or in our case checking it and the Leagues Club out.

Give it time melad. Would look right real geese, if quality went down after a month.IOW being Cronullafied .Needs a few weeks of feasting.
