BTW, you are still on the background. Try to focus on this question. Will this person would attract those sort of supporters? Forget about me, for a sec mate, I don't matter. Concentrate now Reefy, I know you can have an argument that isn't personal.
I don't get it. Thats why I cant answer it.
Probably the reason I don't get it is because I haven't seen a thread similar. Saleh has been singled out.
Your thread should have read:
Will we get troublesome supporters like the dogs do if we sign hassan?
The answer is we might.
Will we get drunken, socially diificult Aboriginal supporters to the games if we sign merrit & peach?
The answer is we might.
Will we get brawling, aggressive maori types to the games if we sign Lomu?
Yes, we might.
Will get white trash supporters to games who get comkpletely drunk & hurl racial abuse to anyone with whom they don't feel racially comfortable?
Definitely! Put your house on it.

I hardly believe the argument offered up by those opposed to his signing has very much to do with race/ethnicity. Remember, people were just as opposed to Brett Kimmorley signing with the club following his spell at the Northern Eagles. His addition relegated the reigning Dally M Player of the Year to the bench (and eventually beyond), only for him and the coach who propelled him into the national spotlight to win a Premiership two years later (one for Preston) while we struggled to even look like a team at most times.
For mine, it's as simple as Hassan not bringing anything more to the plate than any of our current wingers based at the club... :?

It's always funny when someone precedes a comment with "Now I'm not racist or anything but..."
Just say what you think
If you dont like Saleh just cos he's an Arab, say so
Who really cares
I couldnt care less what the prick is
I dont like him cos he's low...he's Hassan Saleh
On Hassan Saleh, he is a low low specimen obviously of questionable breeding stock and I hope he gets hit by a bus before he gets the opportunity to play for our proud club.
His parents are going to sue me because I said he's of questionable breeding stock? What if I said the same about you Aries? The way lawsuits get mentioned on this forum all the time is a sad joke.If nothing more, it's grounds for his parents to sue your arse mate
I've said many times that I dont care what ethnicity Saleh is. But I also think people should say what they think. If I didnt like him cos he's an Arab, I'd say so. I dont think its the correct opinion to have but if I did think it, I certainly wouldnt water it down.It smacked of racism to me though...

Too bloody right.
SadShark said:I'll throw back to the man in question and the way he plays the game. There is a picture of him in today's Newcastle Herald, sliding in with his knees in the back of a player from Woy Woy - who is in the motion of scoring a try.
That's a class act in any man's book.
