Accepted. And I don't know... I've forgotten and can't be bothered to scroll back and check.

Likewise, no problem with the discussion, I'll just calmly call out you or anyone else who chooses to get unnecessarily and pointless personal in replying to my discussion posts. Every time. And if me doing that makes you think I'm going berko, then you don't know what my berko really is .

Well this move to ANZ has now allowed me and my mates to go, that and losing my local game this week.
To be honest, I'm pretty stoked.

And it's for people like you Springs that this has been a great decision.
I notice that it's mostly the people who get to see them the most that are doing the most whinging.
I had tickets to the game, but I'm glad it's been moved, so more people like you and your mates can share the occassion.

As much as it's a shame for Hindy and Burty and the home fans that we didn't get to give them a proper farewell at Parra Stadium, there are now a lot of supporters from both sides that will now get to go to the game that wouldn't have otherwise. It would have been good if the decision had have been made earlier and we could've have given them a proper home send off, but we can't help that now. The correct decision has probably been made, and there should be more than 40,000 at the game, so let's all get out there and thank them for putting in such a huge effort over two wonderful careers.

Just on another topic , will the crowd be the official Parramatta home attendance record? (assuming it tops the 27243.) I notice that none of the ANZ home games v Souths and Canterbury have EVER been recorded as home ground records and I know a few of the Bulldog games have topped 31000.

Well we had a massive home crowd in a semi at ANZ back in 2009 (50,621). I do agree with you, it should count as our largest 'home crowd'. Seems that for some reason they only count Parra stadium as our largest 'home crowd'.

Odd. Wouldn't have thought it mattered where we played our home game? Surely biggest home crowd is biggest home crowd??

I'm ecstatic really. My opinion was that if Hindy and Burt wanted it at Parra it should be at Parra, but for me the decision to move it to ANZ was fantastic.

I have a question about the seating. Two of my mates have general admission passes for any regular season game. Does anyone know if they would work to get in the supporter's area GA? (The seats behind the tryline which are usually general admission?)

If they dont count the 31,000 crowd in 2010, then no.

Probably not imo? We're still well behind Souths in terms of membership numbers, and I'd expect our ticketed membership numbers to decrease for 2013 (on the back of two poor on-field seasons).

Of course, the club could radically overhaul it's ticketed membership categories and offer a wider range of more flexible options next year (with no increased costs) and this might help to stem the flow. Things like three-game memberships sold up front (catering for non-Sydney fans), or the choice of separate stadium membership packages or of different day-time mini-memberships (if the ARLC has released the first 20 rounds of the season draw in time). But that's another issue altogether.

Good to see a lot more Eels and Saints fans now securing their tickets in advance, and here's hoping (with some more sales between now and kick off) that the atmosphere at ANZ will be what this farewell game deserves (Mark Warren aside).

You keep going on with this but you're ignoring one important fact - memberships are based on how people expect to go next year, not on how they went this year or last year.

We will get heaps of members for next year. But I won't be one of them - honestly, what's in it for me? I was going to buy a membership to contribute to the club financially but with this new tv deal they hardly need it.
