but thats what i mean Pazza,

our halves (true halves played in their correct positions) have been playing well, just a pity about the other 90% of the season that was wasted by playing Wags at 5/8 and Dykes (a noted 5/8) at half, even though Dykes began to have his moments??

Witt has been fantasic, i think his kicking and long passing game has added alot to the side. His quick, deep, long passes to thorman has given the english man plenty of time to make decisions. I have seen Thorman as more of an attacker than a organiser. Sure Witt doesnt have the complete perfect game but that comes with experiance. Not every juniour is a Sonny bill Williams or Karmicheal hunt. They need time to develop in first grade.

As a supporter of another Club, I hope Hindmarsh re-signs with you guys. He is everything to Parra. Although I just hope that when he says" he doesn't want to go anywhere", that he truly means it and doesn't do a Wiki or J. Monaghan on you.

Or that Parra don't do an Ian Hindmarsh on him.

Ian Hindmarsh wanted to be be close to his farm. Parra had nothing to do with it. By the way its done wonders for his career going to Canberra.

I spoke to Hindy at Townsville Airport when they lost to the Cowboys recently and flew back to Brissy with them.. He seemed happy and content with his team mates. He wont be going anywhere. This man is a one club player !!

He's a workhorse on the field, but I think in real life he is just too lazy to up and move clubs

From Ian's Hindmarsh's mouth........ Parra told him they could not afford to keep him due to salary cap restrictions.

The farm just happened to be the reason he joined Canberra, not the reason he left Parra.

Fact.

I was of the belief we didn't offer him as much as he could get at Canberra and that canberra offered a longer contract....ie we did make him an offer, he just got better elsewhere.

Spot on Strider, at least, that's pretty much what he told me when i managed to have a chat to him, didn't want to leave Parra but it made more sense for him to tie up his future.

i know suity has already said it, but that assumption is so wrong i actually cringed when i read it. not only did ian want nothing more to play his career out at parra, but when he did leave he actually asked nikki and rowdy and i, if the parra fans hated him for it, cos he'd copped abuse or something. Ian wanted more then an inconstant one year contract and when he pushed for it.. parra backed off and ian had no choice but to look elsewhere. Canberra was good, cos its near his family and farm and his best other offer was NZ (whole other country, can't get there by bus)
