Unusual as generally, Toney is not as bad as some of the other trolls, many of which have come across for the gloat and for an ineffective feeble, misguided and ill-directed attempt at post-win abuse. Hardly a sportsman amongst them.
Seems to me Ziggy, that theres more of them and their apologists on Souths LU trying to hurt and be rude to people... than on their own forum actually celebrating their win.
For mine, that reflects the darkness in these guys hearts, the emptyness in their lives, their banal and tepid thought processes and obvious and evident faults in their character.
I for one am glad they arent Souths fans.
The truth is that the Roosters wouldnt offer Wing the contract he wanted so he left. Having been about their best player for almost a decade and with plenty of footy left in him, they can say what they want, but many of them are left wondering how their club f*(ked this up, especially as genuine playmakers are difficult to snare and even harder to build.
So their rude fans stumble from grief to revenge and they have indeed proven themselves wanting at both.
We can draw some comfort that judging from their second half performance, the Roosters despite their new recruits are not top 8 material, whereas South Sydney remains so.
Upon refelection, my view is that a loss at this juncture (in circumstances of wickedness from some of the Roosters players) is not as catastrophic for Souths as some may argue.
If Luke, Greenfield, Buddy, Paea and Smith continue on their upward spiral in terms of their form, we may have even less to worry about.
Indeed Craig Wing's prescence amongst the ranks of the injured may indeed give us a valuable motivational edge.
If the boys continue on their second half rampage, and a lot of experts such as Gould make a big deal of these things, we may be in far better shape than we think.
We boast a number of keen players in our squad who are more than willing and indeed capable of answering the call to arms.
