Hodkinson was terrible. Bring back Pearce.

Hodkinson may not survive the next two NRL rounds without a serious injury. That won't be my fault.

If Hodkinson survives till the Game 2 selection night, expect more of his timidity and mediocrity to persist at the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile Mitchell Pearce will let his football finesse do the talking.

The great Hodgo did the job like the Haynetrain predicted 7 years ago

Dogs of War halves + Haynetrain + The real Haynetrain > QLD

That right side was outstanding on the attack. Although Jarryd Hayne got all the praise, Josh Morris deserves quite a bit as well. It was his presence that inglis was really worried about and that's why he didn't come in the help Thurston stop Hayne, on the one occasion that I can remember he did, Hayne just passed the ball to Josh who just hit the accelerator and passed the ball back to his brother on his inside to score.

Piss should neve play origin again. His lack of awareness is quite something. I remember in game 3 Maloney put up a highball which Tate knocked forward and it landed right infront of Piss with an unmarked Jennings just on his inside. What does he do, gets the ball and runs it directly into traffic.

When he got us that repeat set early on I nearly fell off my chair.

I just assumed NSW halfbacks don't do shit like that.

Brett should be under the microscope - he let that f**ken cat Boyd in for two tries, the second try Morris didn't lay a hand on him.

Boyd was at long odds to score his first try considering where he was when he first caught the ball, he should never have scored.

Blame his brother.
Josh was standing so far infield he didn't give Brett any choice bu to follow him in.

lol My mate turned to me when that happened and said "Hokko has now done more in one half of footy than Pearce has in 12 games"

It truly was a magic moment for NSW supporters

Hopefully Pearce never plays Origin again, there is a reason he has never won a series. He is useless on the Origin stage.

Stamp Pearce's papers now "Never to play for NSW ever again"

I disagree completely

If the series is 2 v 0 to the Blues and there are no other half backs available for game three then Pearce should be allowed to play in a dead rubber.

ha.. if Pearce had the game Hodkinson had he'd be getting absolutely carved up on here. Classic LU delusion. Poor mans Wallace. Who is a poor mans Pearce.

But whatever, you don't change a winning team.

If that was Pearce it would have been one of his better games. Hodkinson did his job he isn't there to be a match winner, good Lord Pearce never was.

My favourite Pearce moment was when Farah repeatedly hogged it and f**ked up the 5th tackle options, and people on here said he was compensating for Pearce

Anyone who thinks Pearce's performances are better than what Hodkinson offered are kidding themselves. That would have been in Pearce's top 3 origin performances for sure.

Unfortuantely, so is every other halfback for NSW at the moment (discounting players who have only just started this year or late last year)
