Toyota is built for 20k isn't it? Don't you usually draw about 11 or 12 to that ground, sometimes less?

I'm more than happy with my club being only second to Wests Tigers in Sydney for Home Crowd Averages.

Crowds can be fickle Timmah and we have had a lean patch but you didn't really answer my question. Are you happy your team plays in a stadium built for 85K or more? Where you need binoculars to see the players? Are you saying that given the chance to have and identical setup as Cronulla you wouldn't jump at it?

btw the Sharks are spending 10 million on a new stand and other improvements tks to Peter Costello.

I thought it was pretty clear I'm happy with Telstra.

We have the opportunity to have the same as Cronulla at Belmore... we don't have it because Belmore is a substandard ground.

FTR, I've never needed binocs to see the players.

Looking at the modern stadia British RL clubs are increasingly playing in and when the GC and Storm get their modern "boutique" grounds, Sydney clubs will hopefully start to properly develop their suburban grounds. Grass Hills where ok for the 80's but time change!

A redeveloped Belmore that looks like the KC in Hull with 25,000 sell out crowds and masses of atmposphere will be one way of getting the crowds back to RL. Telstra has nice facilities but unless there is 30,000+ in it looks terrible on TV and on the few occasions I've been has felt very souless.

Whether or not the atmosphere is terrible, Bulldogs crowds are amongst the best in the league... from a business POV they would see no reason to move IMO.

Souths have only confirmed three home games - R2 v Parramatta @ Telstra, R4 v Bulldogs @ Telstra, and R5 v Newcastle @ Bluetongue Gosford

I thought Souths were taking the Newcastle and Melbourne games to Gosford and were playing the rest at Telstra Stadium. I'm positive that was made clear when they announced that they were taking two games out of Sydney.

They haven't released a comprehensive draw or anything as yet through their website.

And who's going to pay for these developments? Santa Claus?

 You're the quite possibly the worst troll LU has ever suffered through.

Back your claim with pictures or a news article.

True... how could I forget. Having said that, rocco almost seems like he's trying to bring us down from within our own sport :sarcasm:

Maybe we'll just all play nice and forget inter-club rivalry eh?

Wouldn't want to destory the fabric of RL by making fun of the Bulldogs....

Because rumours and speculation about fans burning jerseys (which IIRC correctly, in a public place, classifies as unlawful damage) really bodes well as an image for the entire game doesn't it?
