Hooker wanted

I thought Toutai went pretty well on debut, he ran hard and didn't make any errors that i remember. That try was hardly his fault he was left on his own with two defenders having the jump on him off the kick.

Keating and Roberts should be moved on at the end of this season.

Yep Toutai put in some useful runs. Kelepi did some useful things as well in his time on field. Hopefully big futures for both.

Toutai went ok, at first he was a bit of the pace but got a lot better as the game went along

Anyone would be better than Keating! Surely there are some good hookers in England looking to come to the NRL. I doubt Farrah would leave the Tigpies. He'd be using us as a bargaining chip like everyone else does.

Thought he was ok until his ankle got twisted? Kind of hard to sprint to the ball when your leg isn't working properly
I would guess Sio injury last week will be worse than Haynes, Sio could hardly walk when it happened but showed some heart to keep playing.

Hayne has always seemed to overreact to knocks when other players play through the pain barrier.

I think he positioned himself well for that kick as the dogs had the numbers and should of went through the hands and would have scored closer in.

If Matt Keating gets another f**king long contract im handing it in.

Can you name a hooker who he is better then in the NRL?

Honestly take away the guys good at tackling argument and what other reason should he be our starting hooker? Thank god Ricky knows and won't put up with his shit.

we need one of those zippy no.14's from the bench that are game changers, you know like a Dean Widders or a PJ Marsh. they served us well when they were on fire.

Some parra fans are really harsh. Although Keating is no Cameron Smith, he does a job no different to Ennis. He was the top defender and has to get to dummy half every ruck. Only superbly fit athletes can play in this position. Last week he was a champion. Get off his back. I'm sure Ricky was happy with his game. Also Nathan smith is a fill in player at best. Go and watch the Wenty games and you will see just that.

I really believe Keating is worth persevering with however he must become part of the interchange rotation with someone who is much more effective in attack such as he was with Kingston. Possibly Parata from the NSW Cup? It has to be worth a try.

Massive jump for Parata. This time last year he was the hooker for Wests nsw cup team getting beaten by 50 every week. Last week made 4 unforced errors. Too small and like Smith a good reserve grader.

Why stick with Keating? He is 27 later this year and isnt getting better, if we re-sign him he will get worse throughout his contract. But if you are happy with a mediocre hooker....
