A shame to see his career end like this. He really was a very good player when he wasn't acting like a dope.

I agree.

I might be the only one (and I'll probably get blasted for this), but I think 17 weeks is a tad harsh, especially considering Danny Williams only got one more for deliberately king hitting an opposition player when he had his back turned.

If it was anyone but Hoppa, the suspension would have been far, far less.

I know he is an idiot and brings it onto himself, but I do feel sorry for him in a weird kind of way. He had the talent - just not the brains.

good riddance to bad rubbish

if the bloke had half a brain he would have used his talent to gain headlines rather than try and knock peoples heads off....

Like he did last time until Manly came along and told us he was a changed character. I hope history doesn't repeat.

Agree with these sentiments. Although I dont think it is too harsh, the two incidents are not in the same league. Williams got off lightly if you compare the two.

Bullshit! A) O'Neill's back wasn't turned, watch the video, and B), Galloway wasn't watching either... no difference at all, except that an elbow/forearm can cause more damage. Fair decision by all IMO
