How do we feel after season 2014

Would it be fair to say we've basically finished this season with the same hollow feeling as the last few, and the same feeling for the next few ...only difference is different bloke in charge...your comments ladies and gentlemen please......

For the first time in 40 plus years of following this club, Im glad the circus is over. Kramer doesnt need to visit the clowns.
Agree or disagree with many members on this forum, it has served me well to vent and enjoy the healthy banter.
I would probably be in a better state if I envisaged a light at the end of this barren tunnell, but alas. No.
Hard times, big calls and some testicles are needed for this to change.

I'm disappointed and rapidly losing patience with our management. I feel that the only real chance we have to improve our lot is to have a complete overhaul from top to bottom. Without that I see only several more years of a team under-performing and occupying a bottom eight spot permanently.

And we need another 10 players to be competitive as you lose players through injury and soo

Another unsuccessful and disappointing season which started with a bang and ended with a whimper. The fact that there was some major recruitment with the addition of Widdop, Thompson, Marshall, Cooper and Farrell it certainly did not reflect too much in a upwards move on the table. The team was woeful under Price and just ordinary/average under Mary. Based on a rise from 14th place to 11th this year does not instil much confidence for 2015 with zero recruiting so far.

I still can't fathom how we were in the hunt to sign Bellamy, but missed out and instead re-signed Price. Then Bennet was almost signed, but we ended up with Mary.

It's like saying, 'Hmmm, I'm gonna buy a new Ferrari today. Oh wait, can't afford one, so I'll buy a Datsun 180B instead.'

It's a calamity, the minute Mc Gregor got the caretaker role the writing was on the wall that the boys club was selecting another in-house rookie. It's a worrying trend....

I'm not feeling hopeful... We won a few games but can't beat the real competitors. We've got no new signings so no real reason to believe that next year will be any better then the way we ended, not playing finals footy... Again

No signings, we'll continue to pay Widdop a fortune to be a flat-track bully and absolutely woeful goal-kicker. We can't win in Brisbane, Melbourne, Townsville and most other grounds... MacGregor is bereft of ideas and no one is showing a single iota of leadership or foresight.

Completely unacceptable results since mid 2011. F*cking joke.

We will struggle next year and the year after.Mary will be sacked and payed out what pittance he is on and another 2 years will have been wasted.
They will sign a new coach and it will be another 2-3 years until we are competitive again.So we are now into 2018-19 season and still trying to get back up with the top teams.Basically 10 years since being the best rugby league team in the world!
Just my prediction of where Doust and co. will take us.................

I think the writing was on the wall when we got smashed in the charity shield. We managed to win a few games and then it all went down hill from there. If the board and CEO were serious they would've sacked Price after we lost to parra and tigers towards the end of last year. Instead they undertook an 'independent review' which recommended adding Mary as offensive coach and here we are, one year on and nothing much has changed.

I think we"ll win a few games next year but again miss the finals. Mary will work hard on his list of excuses (young squad, inherited roster, injuries, etc etc but we'll be staring 4 years of no finals footy before you know it.

I feel like a Tooheys, and a lot of them.

I expected us to finish no better than 12th at the start of the season so I should be ecstatic that we exceeded expectation to streak out to 11 th good on your MARY you really made a difference.

Unless there are a lot of changes in coaching staff ,board members,players and attitude ,there is no way this side is going anywhere but out the back door.

If that's what it takes to get a Modern day set-up like Penrith has, then so be it !!
