The record is the most logical argument you could ever have and it says 8-1. Sorry to all you Niner haters but that's our record.

We have a very good team, just suck it up and deal with it.

Sorry that i'm not acting like we suck

Niner haters? That would mean people actually consider them some sort of threat, ergo you won't find "Niner Haters" around here.

I have said many times the niners are an excellent team. And with an record of 8-1 you would be a fool to deny it. My point is that you have your head soo far up your own ass that you think they have already won the superbowl.

And to be honest, I had to laugh when you called eagles fans arrogant. Take a good look at your last 30 posts.

Not really, just a tad frustrated my team's not getting the credit it deserves. But then again the so called experts in America are giving them credit, i suppose it doesn't matter from Aussies.

Lose to Green Bay in the conference game. The packers will then do a 2007 Patriots in the super bowl.

8-1 stupid merkin :D

There are times teams win because they are good, & times when teams win because others fall on their faces (DET, NYG, PHI). Put them back to 6-3 & I think they would get taken much more seriously.

But still, the sun even shines on a dog's ass some days...

Well you certainly sound like you care what the rest of us think. I've said all along the 49ers look like a good team, but you're trying to make it sound like they've got the Superbowl wrapped up. The Falcons went 13-3 last year and then got beaten by the eventual champions in the playoffs. It's called any given sunday, they made a movie about it

Better to be underrated and good rather than overrated and shit.

49er's playing good ball, do have a weak schedule imo but can't really fault them on that. Team built for the hard slog, only question is if they have the ability to play catch up ball against the good offenses when it matters. right now they should get the #2 seed so get a bye week and home game.

Really when you think about it who in the NFL doesn't have a weak schedule? other than the Packers every other team has major weak spots.

Can't wait to see what we do with our 5 divisional games to come.

So they deserve to be treated like SB contenders?
They've played well for like half a season, where have we seen this before?

Chargers, Broncos and hell even Cowboys:roll: falter towards the end of the season, or in play off games.
It's one thing to be consistent and it's another to be able to go up a notch for the playoffs and it remains to be seen if San Fran will do that.

I'm not treating us like SB contenders even though our record would show we should be. I know we won't get past the Packers unless they fall over, but who will? No body.

100% right

short of the packers falling over, no one can beat them... what you've got to pay respect to, is the niners record is going to put them in a position that if the pack do fall over, they are in the mix for being the right team at the right time. I do believe that the AFC looks pretty average this year, steelers, ravens, pats are probably the cream of the crop i dont see them as unbeatable. So if the niners get lucky and get past the pack, they are as good a chance as any other

the saints aside who i think are the #2 team in the league at their best, but obviously consistancy is an issue and the pats who brady can and will shread on a good day (brady on a good day is pretty much impossible to defend)

the packers are elite... hard to see them being beaten but the others, the niners can beat them all, simply because no one else is as consistantly good as the packers. The saints and pats are both good, both will beat them at their best but they arent consistant enough to say the Niners are out of the mix, because the niners are consitantly good, never great, just good all the time... if you have an off day or a bad day, they'll beat you and they dont give up

i dont think the niners are any more under-rated as any other team not named the packers... take them out and its an open field. But its the packers SB to lose, they are just so far ahead of the rest right now, talking about anyone in the NFC as a SB contender is a laugh...

The only thing with the Pats is that their D is extremely suspect.
It's probably back to back re the Packers, how long has it been since a back to back SB win?
