So now the judiciary takes into account the injury when grading the offence? That's ridiculous. He got a higher grading because Brett Delaney is made out of glass? Seriously? I cannot fathom this statement.

As a neutral in this, I have to say that Lowe's biggest mistake was throwing such a great punch. If he's missed, delaney would have thrown back and that would have been that.

You get charged for drink driving whether you kill someone or not, if you do kill someone then you are charged with manslaughter - so i don't get your argument

the same applies here, Delaney is now out injured for a week or two, so Lowe should get an extra week or two, i have no problem with that.

also im a neutral fan on this and from the footage I've seen it looks accidental if he has grabbed his nuts, it just looks like he was pulling himself up from his shorts to me and Lowe has totally over reacted

Always has been that way. Match Review Commitee does consider injury, and always has done in the past. If delaney is out for a week becuase of Lowe's act of stupidity, Lowe should get more than Delaney. Simple. Don't blame the Match Review Commitee..blame Lowe who was just plain stupid!
