So its crowd numbers that have your little panties in a knot is it?

Canberra Raiders home crowd average 2012 - 10,910 (down 18% from previous season)

Manly Sea Eagles home crowd average 2012 - 14,593

And you have a one team town!!

Couldn't track down any concrete figures on away game crowd pulling power but if anyone would like to prove me wrong in my theory that Manly would outdraw Canberra every day of the week then please feel free. As I see it, you can't just count how many Manly fans turn up to an away game for them, but how many supporters of the home team they pull through the gate.

Care to hazard a guess at how many people would turn up for a Bulldogs v Caberra game this Friday night??

Or is it on field performance that you are upset about with Manly?

Premierships in the last 5 years? 10 years? 15 years? Since inception in 1982? Where do the snot machine outscore there?

You're right, bring in a more deserved team and f*ck off the Raiders :D

a double header Suncorp crowd & a Gosford Crowd included in Manly's Figures
the true Manly average
for the defending premiers & top 4 side most of the year ..... 13,749

the Raiders were equal 3rd last 8 weeks ago ... played 3 games in torrential rain
& 2012 was the coldest Winter since 1999

if we were defending premiers & & a top 4 side
we'd of done a lot better then 13,749

& if Manly had played like us in 2012 .. in the conditions we did
they'd of averaged .. 5000

so tell your story walking buddy
your fans are jokes .... its as simple as that ;-)

Do you actually pay attention to the game or just come here to whinge?

Manly only cracked the top 4 in the last few weeks of the season. They were in danger of dropping out of the 8 with about 8 rounds to go and had only been in the top 4 for the first few weeks.

yeah .... do you pay attention to the game ?
3 GF's & 2 titles in the last 4 years :sarcasm:

but that wouldn't have any bearing on crowds would it :lol::lol:

5 years but that's not the point I'm debating. You made a claim that Manly had been in the top 4 most of the year. You're wrong, just admit it and resume your whinge from a different angle.

You might be right but I've seen more Manly fans at a lot of away games than I've seen away fans at Brookie. At the game at Parra stadium early this year there were plenty of Manly fans, probably about 30% of the crowd total. Plenty of Manly fans get to games in NZ, Brisbane and GC.

I thought it was really strange how strong the Manly presence was at the Gold Coast game given their reputation for not travelling.

Just an observation.

if you were a dragons / parra / dogs supporter you would have a point - but a raiders supporter... please...anyway who cares i thought winning the comp was the season aim - not climbing up the crowd ranking ladder by a spot.

Should also point out another error. The double header was a Brisbane home game (remember we played the Donkeys at Brookvale just a few weeks ago?) so it did nothing for our crowd figures.

Keep clutching at straws though, there seem to be getting fewer and fewer to clutch at.

One of your fellow fans tried to use it as an away game average booster.

Manly fans generally don't travel unless it is for a major game, i.e. GF qualifier or GF. I don't know why you all care what other fans think, who gives a flying f**k. I am quite happy knowing we are the most successful side of the last 10 years and have a real chance at going b2b this year.

I guess Canberra fans just have to find an alternative method of measuring success despite being behind in that area as well.

Careful now.. You might get abused for suggesting Manly fans travel in Brisbane. I think the Eels have a lot of supporters. I know heaps of Squeels fans up here. The problem they have is they never string two good seasons together.

Warriors have a lot of support up here. Even NZ during a test. That WC final they won was massive. I'd never seen that many kiwi's in one place before. there were a hell of a lot at the GF last year too.

There were heaps of Warriors supporters for both Broncos v Warriors games last year (I went to both Broncos v Warriors games last year - I assume most live locally). Also a lot of Manly fans at the double header this year which I also went to, although I think most of them live up here as well.

If the raiders had near the success that manly have had they would be smashing their crowds. The same is true of the storm. That doesn't change the fact that the raiders have been performing poorly or that Manly have been playing great for so long so you don't need to get so defensive.

:lol::lol: Stopped reading at the first line dickhead. The Broncos double header was an AWAY game for Manly so did NOT count as part of our home crowd attendance average.

Next!!

Not only do Canberra fans not attend their teams games, it appears that they are f*cking stupid as well :D
