How many weeks for JWH ?

Whatever the f**k it is there is no tackle. It's Stewart running into the defensive line.

Anyone suggesting anything more than that should f**k off to Yawnion

It was late, Stewart had stopped and offloaded, JWH went in leading with the shoulder and collected his jaw. There's no defending it not being a penalty.

I know a still from a vid does not show the full picture ,but the fact that when contact is made ,there was no effort to wrap him up will go against him.
The arms by the side will get him 3-4.

I am no fan of either club.
Thats just my opinion.

It takes more than a photo to convict but that one is quite damning. I don't care if it's a shoulder charge or not, it's significant contact to the head. Careless, reckless.

Well I feel its a legit shot and I reckon Stuart milked it as well at the sacrafice of being out for the rest of the game, JWH shouldn't get anything but NRl will probably give him 4-6 weeks.
Ok sport, so the crowd booed him off justifiably then...

A shoulder charge is is when the shoulder is tucked into the body.

It's amazing how many people don't know the difference yet.

I don't know what his loading is like for this but I reckon at worst he'll get off with an early guilty plea. Might serve a week with loading and all that crap.

Definitely won't be charged as a shoulder charge though.

JWH has more loading than Peter North!

Well, looking at that photo he goes for at least two weeks, more if he has carry over points.

Every tackle in the game involves the shoulder hitting before the arms, even a tackle around the legs.

The Roosters fans who booed Stewart need to take a good hard close look at themselves. What an embarrassment given all that has transpired this last week in our game.
They have nothing on Cameron Smith's effort last week.

After Wade Graham's shoulder charge suspension (which was one of the one's that started the shoulder charge suspensions rot) when Hoffman fell in to the top of his shoulder and Graham made a wrapping motion, I would say JWH is in trouble.

You have to be seen to be making an attempted tackle.
& correct me if im wrong, but in RL games I watch ,tacklers use their arms.

No. If it's not a shoulder charge (arm tucked) it's not a shoulder charge.

You're confused and seem to think we're playing by yawnions idiotic interpretations. He didn't tuck his arm therefore it wasn't a shoulder charge.

Wrapping is for geniuss.

How do you solve a problem like Maria...?

These threads are pointless... It is always fans of team of player - 0 weeks. Everybody else 2-Life.

He will get time. Any impact to the shoulder while positioning to brace for support indicates intent to hit with the shoulder. The new concussion laws may have prevented Stewart from returning. The bottom line is, Stewart sat out the rest of the game for foul play. He has made no effort to 'tackle', 'wrap' whatever you want to call it. 2-4 plus loading. Maybe more if the fact Stewart didn't come back is taken into account.

& this is not the Roosters forum where your bias is supported by other biased posters.
I don't like Easts or Manly ,& couldn't think of a better grub to get whacked than G.Stewart ..& FYI

I Played & have followed RL for 45 yrs.
SO once more for the Biased fans.
If you are going to tackle someone(& especially now with the new rules pertaining to Shoulder charges ),then you would expect a player to be trying to wrap a player up in a front on tackle.
& by wrap up I mean
He would have his arms somewhere other than by his side.
That is NO attempt at a tackle.
& bringing your arms up after contact is made with your shoulder & the head of an opponent will not cover the fact that no attempt was being made when contact was made.
