How many weeks for Latrell?

Ends player's season with a shoulder charge to the head when we know so much more about brain injuries? 8 weeks. Game needs to be serious about this kind of stuff.
You hold too high an opinion of the NRL. They are hypocritical as f**k.

Fat Latts will get 3 weeks - back in time for the preliminary final.

It was reckless bro. Intent is irrelevant.
It was not reckless. Reckless would be a leaping tackle off his feet or going that hard and high at one of those slow moving tackles that clearly aren't a risk of a line break. This wasn't one of those. It was still a rapid moving play and Manu was driving forward at a real risk of breaking the tackle.
Tyrell Fuimaono wasn’t off his feet and Papenhuyzen was falling.

Fui got 5 weeks.

That tackle was significantly worse. Late on a ball passer, not a ball runner, not close to the try line, and Papenhuyzen was already crouching low in the passing motion before Fui went in. No reasonable person can tell Latrell's conduct was as bad. This has become a 7 page thread solely on the injury, not the tackle.

They will work it out so he gets 2-3 weeks just you watch. Not as if the Roosters can talk how many times has JWH got off this year?

Win or lose, Souths are an undisciplined team, reflects on the coach.
It's bizarre. Bennett must encourage this aggro shit from Mitchell and Walker.

It's weird because the rest of the team is likeable. Nicholls and Johnston are the real stars of that team.

Check with your mates at MENSA regarding the definition of reckless.

Bennett is well known for giving players a cuddle and telling them everything’s ok when they stuff up. This works great for some players, on the field you can’t deny he’s got the best out of Latrell and Cody. The downside of it is incidents like this pop up and will inevitably cost his team a shot at a Premiership.

LOL when has the MRC ever done us a favour around finals? Sam Burgess missed one for a hair pull FFS.

Also anyone who thinks it was intentional is having a laugh and letting their emotions take over.

I think it was Grade 1 reckless which is 3 weeks with an early guily plea. With Latrell's priors it'll be 6 weeks.
I was one grade off but as I said, he got 6 weeks. Fair decision.

Has Cody Walker ever had a go at anyone bigger than him. I can only remember him muscling up to Flanagan and now Sam Walker.

I don't actually see how 3 weeks is possible with priors though?
Because you're:
1. Using your brain; and
2. Applying logic.

The NRL does neither of these things when it comes to the game's protected species (see, eg, Cleary a few weeks ago and Slater in the Grand Final a few years ago).
