Don't know what the fuss is about, Peachey merely forgot he wasn't playing outback footy where that type of reaction to someone stealing the ball is common place. He'll cop the punishment while getting paid to do so. Pity the NRL doesn't give a salary cap refund to Penrith for the dope's time off and fine him to recoup the difference . . . that'll make players think twice

About 4-6 weeks is what it's worth. If he has loading or anything like that it'll be more.
It was far from a send off offence, send offs now days are for deliberate acts of foul play, peachy's tackle was a sloppy tackle gone wrong. Hodges deliberate elbows to the head would be more cause for send offs then peachy's tackle
It being after the whistle has no effect on anything, how many times have we seen players go on with play after the whistle has gone? It's a regular occurrence in every game

Nope. I think the refs have shown for the last few years, that they won't send people off any more for tackles gone wrong, has to be a deliberate act of foul play to get sent off now days

A deliberate act of foul play like when the last player, Snowden, was sent off?

Although he has no previous, one would think this would be sent straight to the judiciary.

A 3 week penalty looks about right for that kind of tackle with no loading.

And I think the refs were criticized at the time for the Snowden sendoff, hence why the will only send off for a deliberate act

you're really really making a strong case for being the biggest deadbeat Souffs fan on this forum and that's some sort of feat

I don't give a f**k, you drop a guy on his head you deserve to be sent and the fact that it was after the whistle is just plain reckless

2 refs, 2 touches and 2 video refs didn't think it was a send off are they deadbeats to? I'm not denying it's a bad tackle and he'll deserve a big suspension but still don't think it's a send off.

Grade 4, whatever that is worth to him.

Doesn't get much worse than that, considering the whistle had well & truly gone (hence not a grade 5).

Accidents happen but to me, after the whistle signals intent.

In his defence, Beau Scott did similar after the whistle & got SFA.

How do you prove intent? He & Soward said to the ref they didn't hear the whistle. I can't see intent being used. I would say reckless grade 4. 3-4 weeks
