Morley was far and away the best player for the Roosters, and i think he is the best in the world. The way he took out players and charged forward was breathtaking to watch.

I have no proof and i don't claim to have any.

In actual fact, our team ran 5th but us Raiders fans are proud of our players who have stuck together all year and played for their fans. Calling me a fool is just a way of trying to assert authority where you have no right to. The point being made is that i am speaking on behalf of everyone that dislikes the roosters:

I think you're right. How many of these idiots that are being so critical of the players, have actually played footy, let alone at any reasonable level. How did their teams go? I'm a Dragons supporter and not by any means a fan of the Roosters, but I certainly know what it means to make a Grand Final and lose. Most of the chooks supporters don't deserve to be reading some of the childish rubbish some of these so called football supporters are going to the trouble of posting on here. However, you cannot deny that SOME Roosters supporters brought these attacks upon themselves by gloating and attacking the Panthers all week. It is only right and justified IMO that those people cop some back.

And thankyou RoostarGirl - Morley was brilliant in a beaten side.

All in all, i thought the Roosters performed quite admirably in the conditions (Injuries etc.). Penrith were just too good.

However, in defence - yes, some rooster fans have gone into other forums and had a field day but you will be hard pushed to find those posters in here. Unfortunately, the ones copping it, are the ones that have been quite pleasant (for want of a better word) throughout the season and have been the first to congratulate Penrith and other teams on success and have only really defended the chooks here and not gone stirring in other teams forums.

Anyway, it's academic.

The opposition has done it, the media has done it, I guess its the turn of the low lifes to do it.

I havent seen any excuses by anyone for our loss. We were out-enthused by a better side on the night. We suffered our greatest losing margin all year - A WHOLE 12 POINTS, we scored our lowest total all year...but we did make the grand final and filled 6 spots in the kangaroo team, some of whom are new Australian representatives.

We backed up after last years GF victory with 7 fewer players from that match, we made it through SOO, we worked our way through season ending injury crises (thats plural for crisis for the hillbillies) and we went down fighting in the best GF in 3 decades.

Personally, I'm quite satisfied, disappointed but satisfied. We'll be the favourites for next year and we will win it.

What a bunch of whinging opportunists you all are. Slagging off Gould, Stuart, Finch, Walker, Fittler and Mini. Without them we wouldnt have made the GF which is a damn sight better than what 13 other teams achieved. What a load of bollocks you lounge lizard experts come out with. As if you wouldnt want any of the Easts players in you team.

If it wasn't for the tackles on Byrne and Cross and Crocker during the 2nd half the story would be potentially different. All credit to Penrith, they were magnificent last night.

I suppose the result provided the best excuse for you lousy losers to bag off our team. Do you think it hurts? Do you think we care? NO.

Now like all bottom dwellers, sink back to the bottom of your cesspool and lets see what you have to say next year.

I suppose it hurts watching your team get beaten all the time and you find some relief in bagging our team. But thats the typical Australian way to do things.

If any of you had just a modicum of intelligence you could weigh up the respective wealth of the 2 teams, the pool of talent from where each player originated and the true player development achieved at each club.
