How well will Souths do in 2012

I used to have a soft spot for them until I realised a lot of there fans are like that when they have no reason to be. If only they could be more like you...

Most fans do have a realistic expectation. We have made huge movements in recruitment and changes in the past couple of years, the realistic expectation is that all of that would lead to on field success.

In fact I'm fairly sure you're not even a Souths fan and just pretend to be one to troll us. Because what real Souths fan in their right mind thought 2002 was "our year". With a squad we built from scratch in the offseason, we were lucky to get 1 win. NOONE thought "this is our year" in 2002.

Yup 2002 was a year where we were just happy to score a try and to be in the competition again. There was no belief of getting a premiership

Really, I find team Crowe and the hubris hilarious.

Souths are like that kid in school who showed great promise early on and faded into report cards that read: "should do better."

But best of luck for 2012. Every team bar the premiers wants to improve.

Remember how you dribbled inanely about how in 2011 "we got this," all because you signed Greg Inglis, he was the missing piece of the puzzle. Well congratulations on finishing one spot lower on the ladder than the year before. On a ratio of cash spent to on-field performance, we're probably a worse outfit. At least in the old days, expectations were realistic.
