How's everyone's grand final week??

I am wearing a blue suit with a gold tie to the wedding that I have to attend! Also found out that Illawarra Leagues Club is within walking distance of the Reception House, so I hope to watch it from there.

Fishy said that the cafes up Church Street are decked out in Blue and Gold.

Yeah, on that restaurant strip through to Vic rd the council have little blue and gold flags above the street and the big blue and gold 'city of eels' or 'go the eels' flags waving.

A few of the cafes either have posters, signs, streamers or balloons up.

A bit of colour on the old town hall as well.

Also a cool sign on top of a building that says 'Champ Hayne Football'.

I have been wearing my jersey in the office all week. When I go out for lunch, I come across others wearing their jersey's - and we look at each other and say "Go Parra" and smile - its liike we have known each other all of our lives,and yet, I have no F idea who they are!
What makes it stranger, is that I work in Chatswood, and the average Joe in Chatswood (having a large Chinese population) couldnt give a rats.

Great to see the Blue & Gold everywhere I go. More flags out windows than I have ever seen!

i walked into a guy at the bottle-o accidently and he said sorry. i then realised he was wearing a bulldogs jersey so i said up the eels. then as i was leaving the refrigerated beer section, he was entering at the same time, so he had to stand back and open the door for me as i exited. his wife, also in bulldog wear, turned to the husband and said - i can't believe u opened the door for him. i continued to laugh out loud all the way to the register.

I'm pissed off hard, I bought the car flag and put it on my car about 5 months ago, and just the other day I'm driving along and the damn thing just snapped off. Talk about bad timing. :x

I sold 8 Car Flags on ebay. I sold em at $5 each to help out fellow Eels fans, but if I hadda known they were in that high demand I woulda but em up for Auction and let em fight it out!! :lol:

The most I have done this week to show my colours is to put car flags on either side of my car. Im going out to buy some decorations today. I have seen a few houses around Granville done up in colours. Am thinking of going around the area and taking photos to document it all. Saw a car on coming from Greenacre yesterday that had a blue and gold boot, blue and gold hub caps, flags flying from either back doors, eels poster in the back window and Eels pillows. How he saw out his rear view I will never know. :lol:

sincemonday ive worn a parra jersey or shirt, today im wearing my new parramatta grand final shirt i got from rebel sport at parramatta westfields......and ive got my parra flag on my car!! had it on since the titans game and it hasnt been taken off yet

Can I just say that Merchandise sales are absolutely GOING OFF!!! I have never seen anything like it.

Peter Wynns, the club, Rebel - everywhere. There are lines in every shop buying Eels gear. Amazing.

And can I also say I have never seen so many Eels jerseys being worn. I was just in Westfields and they were everywhere.

Saw two interesting things at Westfield-

1) A moron in a Storm Jersey
2) Wade Mckinnon
