I'm very happy with Manly's Pack. It's has actual depth!

First time since the 1990's that we've depth anywhere!

I don't think there are too many forward packs in the comp that don't look good on paper, but Manly's pack will be wasted if they don't sort out their centre and halves problem.
halves will be solved tommorow
when we announce m witt.

Ashley Alberts is coming but we are still a bit light in the centres.

Didn't Alberts walk away? Or was that just BS?
he was having second thoughts cos he had to have a shoulder op

but heres the direct quote from our media department today
2 - After being bothered with a shoulder injury and deciding to return home to Rockhampton, young centre Ashley Alberts WILL play with Manly next season.Alberts spent time in Manly last week, had his shoulder operation and will return in the off season to prepare for the 2005 season. He was happy with the operation and is now keen to join the maroon and whites.

I think our depth will be tested this year though.

Thats ok news for Manly, Alberts is ok, has alot of potential, but has failed to do anything since coming on to the scene. Hopefully for Manly he can actually live up to all the hype that surrounded him when he made his debut for the Cowboys. Odds are he wont, it's not like the guy can make up his mind, leaving one minute staying the next with 3 clubs so far. That doesn't sound like the sort of commitment needed to play in the NRL.

If Manly do get M Witt, it'll give them Monaghan and Witt in the halves, which isn't to shabby in attack, but lacks size in defense and if one gets injured there isn't anyone left in reserve to cover them.

For mine...

I think the cowboys pack looks very dangerous.... then perhaps the warriors...

No offence to the sharkies supporters out there.... but I think they will struggle based on that lineup....

I hope it lines up like this:

8. O'Hara
9. Woolford (c)
10. Weyman
11. Hodgson
12. Croker
13. Jason Smith

14. Adamson
15. Hindmarsh
16. Thompson

But I think Elliott will go with...

8. O'Hara
9. Woolford
10. Thompson
11. Hindmarsh
12. Adamson
13. Croker

14. Weyman
15. Hodgson

with Jason Smith at halfback :?

What about that jessi Royal (i think thats his name) from penrith.

We have picked up cheif as our forwards coach so if he gets perry off his ass we should do allright. Got alotof promising young forwards.

Thats what I was thinking, Waterhouse went like Hindy in 2001 when he started as second rower because of the lower workload. Galuvao has been down on form all year, but would kill 'em off the bench.

We got the Experane and the youth, man this pack has it to go all the way! go penrith!

I think the retirement of Martin Lang will be a huge loss for the Panthers next year. His workload this season has been bigger than every forward in the side, bar none(except maybe Priddis, if he counts).

I rate him higher than both Clinton and Ross. He's not flashy, but he sure as hell gets the job done.

You had Betham in twice

Id swap Faumuina and Guttenbeil around.
For your interchange Betham, id have Koopu or Lauaki, cant split those two at the mo
