Couldn't happen to a nice f#$king team to be honest. The Broncos have had the rub of the green for years, it's about time they had a lean trot.

Losing Wayne Bennett would be the biggest blunder the club has ever made , he was the main reason that the club was always in contention for the title just about every year since 1992 .....if there was a personality clash with Bruno Cullen then he should have been shown the door , not Bennett .......the Bennett influence was still there at the beginning of the season , but it's slowly dying and will be gone by next year ......and the Broncos will become mortal like everybody else , meaning that they'll have some lean seasons mixed in with the good ones .......

I agree Wayne Bennett was a massive loss. You can see how player's perform for him in any team he coaches. That style has been synonymous with the Broncos.

I also dislike how many recruits we have been making. We've had the odd one over the years of course, but not as many as we have right now. I liked that the club brought up guys over their career, some good some not so good, but they were Broncos players to the core. Guys that would never want to play for any other club.

as much as i loved watching Queensland win 4 in a row im starting to think they need to move origin to after the grand final. have 3 weeks in a row of origin. this way we dont lose half our team to Origin year and year. just look at our lose last we. there is no way we would have lost if it wasnt for half our team being out.

Thats just an excuse not to mention totally wrong. The club has been dealing with the challenges for origin for a long time now. Not to mention Broncos representation has reduced significantly in recent years.

Our forwards are getting monstered and who exactly is missing?? Sam Thaiday....... how much difference do you think hes going to make, 40 points worth?

Wayne Bennet decided to move on of his own accord. Infact he decided that in 2006.

What more did you want the club do, put a ball and chain around his leg?

It's been well documented for years that he and Cullen did not get along - which is why Bennett wanted to move on .....yes he did actually agree to coach the Roosters in 2007 on the proviso that it wasn't revealed until the end of the season but somebody let it slip out .
He'd more than likely still be there if Cullen wasn't CEO.
