Doesn't seem to me like he said he would stop following Parra, just that he follows Wigan and he's a bit sh*t off with Parra (as we all are I'd imagine).

Good luck to ya mate, I support Wigan in the SL too. It won't do much to cure the heart condition all Eels supporters suffer from but I really think Timmy can take Wigan to another level.

Yeah good on you mate, I hope Timmy smashes them over there. Hopefully he has not totally ruled out comming back to our club, but I see him playing in QLD somewhere above having another crack at our strange club. I can understand the logic of the post. He is dissapointed in our form and our approach to things with Fitzgerald and Hagan, so am I. Also, with zero loyalty in the game at every other end of the spectrum (players, clubs, NRL). It does make it easier to entertain the idea of supporting a foreign club (or sport). And lets not forget Parra may well not exist in 5 years time.

No more promotion and relegation in SL... 3-year franchises for 2009 onwards are announced on July 22, Wigna re certainties, the comp is expanding by two teams (most likely the recently relegated Salford and the Celtic Crusaders side based in Wales).

He sure can. Whether it is up or down is yet to be decided.

.....and fickle supporters who chuck their arse in the corner at the first opportunity......

Did anyone actually watch the Wigan-Leeds match? Parramatta or no, it was a great gamer of footy in the "inferior" league. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Though not as much as watching the Eels, even though we're struggling.
