I've said it in other threads but with the title of this one being about hating Hayne, I guess I'll say it here, too.

I don't hate him. I wish him all the best in what is a f**king gutsy move.

I don't hate him because something like this (general abandonment, not NFL) was what I expected to happen at some point.

The reason there's so much butthurt is because you've all been shown to be fools, and when people's stupidity is revealed they often get defensive and blame the revealer.

We'll have another ridiculously talented player come along at some point...tomorrow...five years...twenty years from now...and when we do, you all need to remember what happened with Hayne.

Hero worship is for children. You should all learn your lesson and grow up.

Yeh, given the pub's ancient history with bikers, they don't let people from Wanniassa in without a reference and surrender of passport. I think Gary's more of a Bentspoke kinda guy. I went to Highball Express after work today....wasn't too bad a space, but didn't care much for the clientele.

I like Highball for the drinks (although f**k they're expensive) and the fit out, but I feel like I have to wear a linen shirt and fellate myself to be allowed inside...

It is one of those places where you've been queing for a drink for a while and others know that you've been waiting before them......but are perfectly happy to jump the queue without the slightest sense of regret. That's fair enough at 10pm , but at 5.......where I grew up you'd get a punch in the chops after a few repeat performances of that.

I reckon I'd like OCI. Highball less so. In the house at Red Hill now, but enjoyed being a tourist in Kingston for 10 days.

Made the mistake of going for a drive the day before the removalists were due. One of my run flat tyres completely shit itself to the point where I would have f**ked the rims if I kept driving...and of course run flats = no spare. Great invention BMW you merkins! So I ended up being stuck near Murrumbateman for 2 hours waiting to be picked up for a tow into Kingston.

Removalists then rang me at 7am the next morning saying they were nearly in Canberra (after leaving our house in Brisbane at about 5pm the previous night). So only about 8 hours earlier than expected. Then had to find my way out to Woden to get the keys and then get over to the house sans car.

Good times...

Oh, and I still can't believe its not butter.

I thought it was Chipmunk that was talking it up as a shit hot venue for craft beer? I just said it doesn't look like it is that brilliant for craft beer as it only has a small rotating tap list. Still probably a good place though.

I also thought it was in the context of a broader point I was making about Brisbane and craft beer. I think it is second only to Melbourne these days.

Anyway, I'll probably spend most of my time drinking Reschs at the Soccer Club in Deakin. If I don't see Sticky in the next few weeks, I am holding you accountable.

Nah, it was me (or at least me and Chippy). It's true that the OCI only has 6 or 7 rotating taps. But they rotate the beers very quickly (as they sell a shitload). They do stouts and porters very well in the cooler months.....not to everyone's taste but I like em. The food from the kitchen is also generally pretty good.
