I saw an interview with in bad bowling merkin ... he said someting along the lines of, people laugh at my bowling but i dont care, i just love cricket .... thats the spirit

The guy is a legend, tbh.

He once drove 500km overnight, just to make a game the following morning.

Then some armchair critics want to make fun of the guy.

I say he's a legend for having such passion, determination, and love for the game of cricket.

Also - I f**king love Ashes cricket. It's the best.

With Cummins or Pattinson batting at 9 we have some depth.

1 big partnership will be crucial (pretty obvious I guess).

These two are crucial. Even if it's not the big partnership they need to set us back on a path where a few decent partnerships get us around 300-odd

England have many of the same batting woes we do tbh. Although they have the advantage of facing Siddle.

Siddle will do ok in English conditions. Bowl stump to stump outswingers without too many easy hits.

Yeah....but when he's keeping Josh Hazlewood out I get a migraine trying to work out the thinking...

If Hazlewood hadn't had the injury, or had come back with some decent figures in the warm ups I'm sure he'd be in. Hazlewood also wasn't very effective in last series in UK.
