Paddy Cummins is the most tactically inept Aussie captain I have ever seen. I thought Paine had no idea and Ponting was tactically inept but Greta takes the cake. Being defensive makes absolute no sense when you need to bowl a side out. He still had men on the boundary when they needed under 10 runs. The bowling coach makes the Murph look almost competent.

I get that on Australian pitches our usual bowling attack is very good, but surely we have one or two other bowlers whose style is more suited to Pomland?
Boland isn’t suited, Hazlewood isn’t much more, Green isn’t suited, Cummins can be and Starc is. I would’ve thought Neser or Richardson would’ve made more sense. Yes they are going to be expensive but with they way Poms are batting, if you bowl them out twice even if they score 700, you’ll have the better part of 3 days to beat the score

When your tactics to get batsmen out rely on having 9 fieldsmen on the boundary fence I would suggest that is not the best strategy. It cost us in both innings. We lost as a result of our tactics which were appalling not withstanding some of our batsmen didn’t exactly cover themselves in glory. Very disappointing. We got what we deserved.

Is Gutho the most known player for parra.

I legit got called Gutho like 10 times today at the cricket in reference to my parra jersey as a laugh even from some pommies who probably watch NRL from afar.

I didn't realise the reach Gutho had tbh.

Highest score of 51 on this pitch just isn't good enough.
A lot of runs left out there. Bowlers will need to step up to keep the English from taking this away from us. Cummins also needs to be more aggressive with his captaincy.
