This test is as good as done.

Woeful from the Aussies who would have had Perth locked in as a win.

Yesterday showed when Starc was batting the pitch flattened out and what a disgrace day 1 batting was.

Fallout won't be pretty.

Worst performance i've seen from an aussie side i can remember, this is hardly India's full strength team either. Our batsman have no idea how to bat for time anymore. Some of these frauds need to have a chat to AB or Tugger how to get through when it's tough. Border made a career out of it.

As a kid I was good at cricket. Absolutely loved watching it too. When Steve Waugh retired and Michael Clarke eventually became captain it was the beginning of the end for me. I’d be hard pressed to name 3 players in this current Test team.

You forgot to include that NZ just beat them 3-0 in India.

The Australian cricket team is the only sporting side I have supported that has had any success in my life time.

Growing up in the early 2000s watching the team win everything but also have two entertainers in Gilly and Warne especially not only dominate but they also changed the game forever made me love the sport as much as Rugby League.

Gilly forced keepers into having be decent batsman and Warne's leg-spin was a true art that we have never seen before or probably again.

The one thing where cricket has lost its way is the characters in the game have been weeded out.

Most cricketers these days are plastic and very vanilla as individuals.

I watched Gilchrist's last one day match live at the WACA in Perth when I was living there. It was against Sri Lanka and he made a century.

The first ODI I attended I was 8 years old with my brother and father was 2003 against the Poms at the SCG.

We rolled England for 110 and Gilly/Hayden chased it down in 10 overs. Gilly got about 70 off 34 balls and hit 6 boundaries of 1 over.

The game was over by sunset but loved it and Gilly ever since.

That night Dad got so drunk happy we flogged the poms he got his toe-truck mate to pick us and his ute up from paddington haha after going back to the pub and drive us home back to the Hills

We even stopped in and grabbed Chinese takeaway to take home from the old BBQ king on Goulburn Street.

One of the great classic stories from my childhood about a day at the cricket you never forget
