Lets go everyone, but with an obvious focus on the top 5. I get that it's hard to compare, especially against teams like parra and the tigers who've had about 15 different players, but I was just watching the replay and it flashed up on screen that leilua and Boyd have scored 11 and 10 respectively, and we all know Jimmy's on 19, and pretty sure aku and gagai had decent years too so was wondering how they stacked up compared to other teams

I'll do the 5 that scored the most and played the most for their respective teams.

So far we're leading..

Here it is;

Knights – 58

Broncos – 41
Bulldogs – 51
Raiders – 43
Sharks – 29
Titans – 44
Sea Eagles – 70
Storm – 57 – I did 6 players since mahe fonua didn’t play the whole season and blair started playing centre at the end)
Cowboys – 44
Warriors – 40
Eels – 33
Panthers – 39
Rabbitohs – 50
Dragons – 35
Roosters – 51
Tigers - 36

2nd only to Manly's outrageous 70!

Also as a little side note, I'd say the Roosters and Sharks score with their forwards more than any other team by far

That ties in pretty well with my theory that us and Manly probably have the strongest backlines in the comp.

I agree, Manly are the only other backline that come close IMHO. And ours is yet to come into their prime, which will be in another couple of years one would think.

Not sure if this has been mentioned recently, but the Panthers (2004) are the only team who have been waiting longer for a finals win than us (2006).

The last team we played in the finals was the Bulldogs in 2011. If anyone remembers that game it was an injury nightmare and they beat us by like 28-12.

Time for revenge. We're healthy and they're the ones heading in with question marks over players.

Pretty sure that was 2009. We played the Storm in 2011 and pushed them all the way. 18-8 or something I think.

Some interesting fodder here, including:

- We are the second-most effective team at successfully defusing kicks, with a 75% success rate (perhaps suggesting Uate isn't as bad in this area as is made out).

- We ran for more metres than any other team this year.

- We make the least offloads in the comp.

- We make the second-least errors in the comp.

- We make the most tackle breaks from dummy-half runs. Kind of an unusual stat but also interesting, especially when good dummy-half runs can lead to very good go-forward. I think Boyd has a lot do with this stat.

Bold point 1:

I would put alot of this down to pressuring the kicker. I remember a time where on the 5th, we would just let the kicker do as he pleases. Not any more.

Bold point 2:

Thankyou Wayne.

Uates issues under the high ball have been overstated for ages. Pretty much since mid last year he has been great, with the odd bad patch for 1-2 games.

I hope teams keep kicking to him because it will give him more confidence when he defuses them and it gets the ball into his hands more often

Man we have some good stats coming out of this year. We really look like we are turning the corner as a team.

Next year I think the focus will be converting those good stats into some wins and just getting off to a consistent start.

We have been let down this year by periods of laziness.

The team knows what it takes now to string wins together since 'that talk' from Wayne.
