I like a fairly wide range of music. Steer clear of Nu-metal, top 40, r&b and emo though.

Illa how would you rate game theory in comparison to phrenology?

We have a winner. Just purchased the midlake album and I like what I'm hearing. Might look into Macromantics and Tapes n Tapes next week. Thanks mate.

On par or better tbph. Lyrically it's dark, solemn state-of-the-world type ish - not many hip-hoppers are doing it, not many artists period; musically, well, it's typical Roots sonic depth courtesy of ?uestlove. Pre-Phrenology jazzy flourishes (Dont Feel Right), and big rock joints (Here I Come) - it's not a party record, but you'll have fun listening to it.

We're praying they're on the BDO 2nd announcements as the Boiler Room headline. Praying every night.
