Where's the Gimp OP ?

He bumps his stupid threads when games work out in his favour, such as Storm losing this round. But when things dont go his way and he's nowhere to be seen.

Talking down your team so no one gives you shit at the end of the year doesn't actually work, you know. :sarcasm:

The bye has come at the perfect time for the Tigers, get away refresh, renew, recover, reinvigorate and any other "re" word you can think of except for genius.

It's been a tough time, this has been a blip in the season but now it's time to move on and play smart footy.

They can and most likely are a premiership contender but it just depends which Tigers team shows up at any given time. On their day they can beat anyone but they can also be pretty average against anyone. There's no way i've written them off yet.

We are just one of those teams.

We get pumped by teams like Chooks, Raiders (the first time) and Knights but suddenly turn up for the big contests.

Still expect the Dogs to run roughshot through us in a few rounds

Gonna be very interesting to see how the Tigers go from here.

Following the bye they've got the Dogs, Panthers and Cowboys in Townsville. I think they will get over their slump and finish 6th or 7th.

Which big contests? You've won three against the top eight and lost four against the bottom six. You beat Cronulla in very suspect circumstances, Melbourne without the big three and NQ who haven't won in Sydney since the harbour punt stopped running. Everyone else in the top six has beaten the Tigers. So I'm struggling to see who they "turn up" for.

They can beat anyone on their day, but come finals they'll need to win at least 3 in a row against quality opposition, which they do not have the consistency to do.

Bigger games towards the end of the season.

Even in the J-Mo days we seemed to get a run up and burst into finals contention
