ALOT of people complained about last years Finals. There was ZERO intensity throughout the whole sorry mess of last year.

But both Manly and Newcastle fans and players SHOULD stand TALL tonight. Both of you played a TRUE Finals match, something we havent seen since 2004. Thankyou, to BOTH clubs. Wonderful, and truly enjoying. The INTENSITY IS BACK BABY !!

Agree...Newy v Manly was an awesome game. I haven't seen such a crazy game all year!! Penalty kick missing at 19-18 with someone catching it and running 100m to fall 30cm short of the try line.

Orford was poor again I thought. Not good enough to win it when the chips are down. Glad Storm got rid and have a halfback who can lead a team in his place for a lot less money!

I thouroughly enjoyed last nights game. Had intensity alright. Manlys first half defence awesome, although they dropped too much ball in the game.

Newcastle pounding and pounding at the line and eventually getting through. Tanner playing on with a busted shoulder.

Got to feel sorry for Seage. He can't win a trick. First one knee and then the other.

Poor Orford...a consistent choker.

Whilst Maly were terrific in defense, the knights were inept in the first half.

For the amount of ball they had, Newcastle should've been up 30-12 in the first half. Ink's hit the nail on the head - inept. Kidley saved their second half.

Incredible game, manly had it in the bag at halftime but their frustrations got the better of them in the 2nd half and therefor couldn't complete their sets, only have themselves to blame. However their defensive effort in the first half was something to applaud.

Was a great game to be at.
A Real old fashioned barndance.
Was great to be apart of out there.
We just finished too strong in the end. Even with Buderus going to be suspended for 8 weeks I still think we can go all the way.

As for Manly, they are gone.
