Oporto Henriques to roll the arm over with his juicy medium-pacers.
Henriques stalling in the 120's km/h mark.

These days in international cricket, you are only going to be effective in that speed bracket if you are a 'corridor of uncertainty' (to quote Geoff Boycott) bowler that can hit that perfect line and length 9 times out of 10, such as Glenn McGrath or Shaun Pollock.

It is safe to say Henriques isn't.

Unless these nuffies literally grab 2 wickets in the next over or 2, the poms will cruise home on DL. Though even if it went 50 theyd get them fairly easily anyway.

Why even pick Zampa?

He can't be used sparingly, he's a genuine wicket taking option

35 wickets @ 27.89 from 22 ODIs. Much better than Henriques "all-rounder" stats.

Head and Zampa bowling in tandem could build some pressure and stop the flow of runs. Morgan/Stokes have really used the pace of Starc/Cummins to full advantage.

Yeah but he's a change bowler. Pollock and McGrath were not.

Henriques goes 5 overs 1/35 and he's done his job. The issue isn't that he's bowling, it's that Zampa hasn't yet.

Finally, here he is. With his shit hair.

Yeah, don't know what it is with these ostentatious "hey, look at me, I look cool!" hairstyles and men wearing headbands.

But, if he can deliver with the ball, that's all that matters in this match

I don't mind this move actually. Around the wicket just getting it to slide on with the arm....

Definitely no shame in the world champions missing out on a CT semi spot to the might of Bangladesh.

Yeah definitely. Disgraceful effort from the Aussies, no control when it comes to bowling plans or indeed the weather....

I think Smith has missed a trick here. Bring mid off up, make them try and hit against the turn. Might get one through the gate or a drag to midwicket off the inside edge. They're not gonna score any faster than they are now

I love Smith as a batsman but he's a very conservative captain. Doesn't like using spinners, very predictable in terms of who he goes to when he needs a wicket....

Deserved to be knocked out despite the rain affecting all 3 of our matches, the kiwis and poms would have beaten us anyway.
Some of the selections were ridiculous.

Henriques at 4? Gtfoh. Henriques in the side at all? What's the point? The bloke has talent the but we need to see it more consistently than once every two years.

Finch is an inconsistent plodder who scores runs right when he needs to keep his spot in the team. f**k him off and open with Head.

You pick lynn and then make him a drinks waiter? Either exploit his hitting skills or let the bloke get his shoulder right by letting him get proper treatment at home.

Pick a spinner. The team who wins the next world cup will have a spinner in their side not 3 pacemen and a few others who can bat a little bit and roll their arms over occasionally.

Go bangers.

Straight sets as well, at least we put up a fight though - timing etc didn't help us or you, and rain hurt (us especially) - that said there were a good number from each team lauding it up in India, so disappointing performances all round
