Biggest WC win in history and we needed it.

Net run rate positive at last. We are outright 4th.

Few players building momentum and form. Smith got a bit more time out there.

Massive game on Saturday against NZ. Day game too. So a chase is a bit easier this time around.

If we beat the Kiwis we won't be missing the semis.

Which should be the bare minimum anyway.

Ideally would love to avoid India in the semis and play the Saffers tbh.

You tell me they wouldn't nervous playing the Aussies in an ODI WC semi final considering there tortured history in them.

1992, 1999, 2007, 2015 lost semi finals and 3 of them were deadset nailbiters and a flogging in the windies 2007.

It's a pretty decent average when you consider he scores faster than any other player in ODI history. It is never going to be consistent going as hard as he does but when you throw in his bowling and fielding it's a good package.

Shouldn't be lumped together with Stoinis as often as he is.
Jos Buttler plays a similar way to Maxi and has scored 11 ODI hundreds and averages 40.

The way Maxwell plays he wont average 50 but surely with his talent he should have been averaging around the 37-38 mark i reckon with the bat in ODI Cricket.

All of those 11 centuries from Buttler from position 4 and down. A number of them from 6 or 7.

Maxy doesn't have many excuses. 2015 WC looks to be his high watermark (So far). He played a lot of 5 after that tournament and wasn't productive enough.

I would rather they be down for the count come November 4 so we can kick & spit on there grave before there plane ride home to Heathrow.

or its a dead rubber (to them) and they play carefree and go troppo

Bury them when they are live i say...
