I reckon this tournament will see ups and downs from every nation

We ain't gonna win all the round games , no great loss not playing your best against the best in game 1

Having said that , the game on Thurs v SA is probably one we are expecting and need to win, looking forward to us bouncing back and winning that game by a comfortable margin..

Saffas are on a roll.

There batsman are in form. They towelled us up a month ago.

It's a must win game really.

I reckon 0/2 and giving up points to a rival like Saffas who we are probably fighting a semi-final spot with could be huge.

Series over if we get demolished in that game. I can see this coming down to NRR for finals spots.

6 wins gets a team in, 5 means NRR becomes a factor is how I see it playing out.

Australia have come in with the attitude that we always lift for tournaments.

That's fine but Australia has stagnated in developing and introducing new players into the team. When some of the strugglers who keep getting a run retire the next batch is even slimmer pickings.

well so far Australia are the best losers in regards to NRR - though most of the top tier nations played minnows like the Netherlands and England

When we got bundled out for 199 I was expecting India to knock that off in 30 overs or so and really drop us in a hole.

NZ finish with 322/7

Young, Ravindra and Latham with 50s, Mitchell with 48, Santner 36 off 17 at the end.

clogbois are going to need to break some team records to get close, they’ve never chased down 300.

What a treat , not one but two corker games on today

At 4pm Match 7 - we have the spirit of the game team v Bangers

At 730pm Match 8 - The Asia Cup finalists v Pakistan

I reckon Bangladesh v England is one of the great sporting rivalries going around.

Who could forget Adelaide in 2015 what a night that was. I reckon it's the biggest party Adelaide has seen in its lifetime.

The night all Australians became Bangladeshi's and sent the poms out of the world cup & back home on the first flight back to Heathrow.
