For noting:

Kiwis have now lost 4 on the trot.
Pak v NZ was the first rain affected game of the world cup.
Afghanistan will move into 4th if they beat Australia on Tuesday.
England lost again and remain on the bottom of the table 😎

Haha England still rooted at the bottom of the table.

Well we won still not convincing we really need a special performance from someone in the semis and final

England should have eaten a target of 287.
Bairstows golden duck says it all.
I'm not overally rapt in Tampax but his batting cameo again Woods and co and 3-21 was in the end the difference between the sides in what ended up a comfortable win for us.
A great moral victory for our boys.

Nice for the little brother to join us in the history books of setting a total of 400+ in an ODI and lose the match. It's been lonely in there for about 17 years.
to be fair, you didn't have D/L intervention, so a more special effort :D

We have to beat Sri Lanka well now, and hope England muster some pride when they play Pakistan

Weirdly, aside from the RSA game, I still think we're playing ok - but scrambling to get a team oin the park - what a world cup for you Ravindra

No system is perfect but you have to go with some formula to resolve a game. In saying that, NZ have had no luck in this cup.
In this instance, I can't argue wiht the result. Pakistan were 1/200 after 25, so half we there at the halfway point.
Sure NZ probably felt they were one wicket away. Get Fakhar out and the new man coming in has pick up where he left off. Is what it is.

yeah, they were a little ahead of where we were, I think - but they had the advantage of knowing the game was likely to be shortened - guess it's a minor whinge, but I an not convinced that was an appropriate 'target' still a lot of batting to be done…. but as with the last world cup, the rules are the rules
