The Roosters will need about 5-6 weeks to get their combinations working. At least they can start next Friday with the return of boom five eighth Luke Keary -- one of the many exciting attacking prospects at the Sydney Roosters. The Cronk-Keary combo is going to be a sight to see.

Newcastle fielded 9 new players in the 17 man squad last Friday. Over half the team had never played for the knights, including the all important spine. And they still won.

You need a few lessons in elementary logic. The Tigers two fluke 10-8 wins do not make anyone an idiot.

The Tigers have improved on last year and shocked the two top teams with identical 10-8 wins. Their luck will not continue throughout the season because the Tigers do not have the talent roster of the Roosters, Storm, Cowboys and Warriors (the top 4 teams).
