Got this in an email and seemed like a perfect silly season thread, some of it is quite funny and spot on.

Melbourne Storm- Delta Goodrem.
Tidy, attractive, professional and uncontroversial. Nice to look at, but for some reason just makes you want to yawn.

St George Illawarra Dragons - Elle MacPherson.
Past her glorious best but still easy on the eye and an old favourite with most.

South Sydney Rabbitohs - Whitney Houston.
Has not looked after herself in recent years and has gone completely off the rails.

Sydney Roosters - Amelie Mauresmo.
Last woman on Earth scenario, you still wouldn't.

Parramatta Eels - Katie Holmes.
Has certifiable psycho in charge of her every move. Has lost credibility in recent times.

Wests Tigers - Britney Spears.
At times can look stunning, at others it can get ugly

Canterbury Bulldogs - Christina Aguilera.
Look like she enjoys it rough and dirty.

NZ Warriors - Paris Hilton.
Lays down way too easily.

Canberra Raiders - Princess Diana.
May be a blue blood, but hasn't done anything for a while.

Brisbane Broncos - Madonna.
Also past her glorious best, but refuses to accept it gracefully.

Cronulla Sharks - Jenna Jamieson.
Can cop a pounding and keep coming back for more.

Penrith Panthers - Krystal from Big Brother.
Has the biggest and best assets going around, but we all know they're not the real deal.

Manly SeaEagles - Anna Nicole Smith.
0 to rich in an instant, but still delivers little

Newcastle Knights - Courtney Love.
Is nothing more then disgraceful. Was only good when the 'top' man was around.

North Qld Cowboys - Lindsay Lohan
Can look quite attractive at times but behind the scenes has a lot of issues

hahaha!! agree with most, but broncos past their best???

Storm one is WAY off, "professional"?? look how theyre handling the Steve Turner saga. "Uncontroversial"?? look how theyre handling the Steve Turner saga. "Makes you want to yawn"?? they were one of the most (if not, THE most) exciting teams to watch in 2006

Wanna buy Whitney's catsuit?

January 4, 2007 - 9:17AM

Looking for an Atelier Versace tan chiffon evening dress, beaded bustier or catsuit worn by Grammy-winning pop star Whitney Houston? Or maybe an assortment of music awards won by her soon-to-be ex-husband Bobby Brown?
Houston, one of the most celebrated pop artists of the 1980s and '90s, is being forced to sell off clothes, instruments and sound equipment to pay a debt to a warehouse storing the items.
The sale, to be held at AJ Willner Auctions on January 9, has been ordered by the New Jersey Superior Court.
"Whitney is selling off at auction old tour equipment that is no longer in use. Part of the proceeds will go to pay a debt owed to the storage company in keeping with court order," Houston's publicist, Nancy Seltzer, said in a statement.
"It is not unusual for an artist to sell off old equipment and costumes no longer needed," she said, giving no details on how much Houston owes the warehouse.
Houston filed for divorce from Brown in September after 14 tumultuous years of marriage and tabloid headlines.
More than 400 lots are listed for sale, including pianos, keyboards, organs, drums, designer hats, shoes and outfits from well-known names such as Giorgio Armani, Jean Paul Gaultier, Pamela Dennis, Gianni Versace and Dolce & Gabbana.
Among the more intriguing items are "Whitney's Throne" chair, a designer Lucite cocktail stand and a church pew.
The daughter of gospel singer Cissy Houston and cousin of pop star Dionne Warwick, Houston shot to fame with her 1983 debut album and won several Grammy awards over the next decade.
She also found success as an actress, appearing opposite Kevin Costner in The Bodyguard. She and Brown also starred in television reality show Being Bobby Brown.
Houston largely retreated from performing after the release of her 1999 album, My Love is Your Love, but surfaced alongside Brown in the tabloids, which have long reported details of their stormy marriage.
In 2000, security guards in Hawaii found marijuana in the couple's luggage. Two years later Houston admitted in an ABC interview that she had used drugs in the past. Twice subsequently she has entered treatment for drugs.
Brown also has had run-ins with the law, including arrests for drug possession, assault and drunken driving.

The Qaenbeyan Blues had alot to do with thier founding. I'd say that's where it comes from.

The actual comment was a touch below the belt though

Old, I saw this last off season, then it was actually funny, because it was more accurate, when the broncos actually looked to be past there best etc.

Quite a good laugh there, especially the roosters haha.

I think they reflect more of a 04 and 05 seasons.
