Can't disagree mate, but I'm not old enough to have seen him play!Couldn't agree more - except I saw Ken Thornett play. Make no mistake, he's as good as any of those.

Gotta love Gerringong. Mick's pub and the first takeaway shop on the left (heading south) does an awesome burger.
The one heading north is heaps better.Gotta love Gerringong. Mick's pub and the first takeaway shop on the left (heading south) does an awesome burger.
Parra Immortals I have seen play:
Sterling
Price
Cronin
Grothe Snr
Kenny
Hindmarsh
Hayne
Alot of great players not mentioned as I think the above list are the special ones.
Yeah, Wasn't called the Zip Zip Man for nothin.Agreed with that lot.
Although, I always get a bit disappointed when Steve Ella is left out. I would add him to the list above.
Ella was an amazing player - incredibly fast and with the quickest sidestep I've ever seen. The only player I've seen that didn't lose any pace while sidestepping. A great defender too for a player of his size.

Are you kidding? You'd have a legit TPA with YKK.Yep. But these days I'd be concerned if I had that knickname as a football player.
Mick was my childhood sporting hero
He got poked in the eye in a pre season game. Friendly fire i believe. What was the story with his eye again ? IIRC he ended up nearly blind in one eye ?
I always liked Burty. f**kn little champion/ He's lucky the grass was a bit long that day lol.
