In before sack Bennett

They didn't rate us in 1997 because Manly were far too strong and had already belted us in the regular season.

They didn't rate us in 2001 because Parramatta were the most dominant club team the entire season, absolutely smashing point scoring records.

They don't rate us now. "Only the top 4 can win the premiership" the so-called "experts" say.

So please...tell me exactly what has changed for us? We have always been the perennial battlers, the team from that smog coated run down industrial town that is sniffed at disdainfully by Bondi latte sippers as they go for their morning power walks.

We're Newcastle! We're mutts! We've been kicked down, spat on, forced to train out of rusted old shipping containers for the greater part of our existence. But there is nothing more loveable, more adorable than the mutt!

But I tell you what. Jimmy Mac just showed us all on Sunday how a real Novocastrian plays rugby league. He got smacked clean in the head but did he lay down on the ground and writhe around in pain. Did he carry on like this fricking disowned mongoloid...

No! He got up and played the ball even if he did have an acute case of the fuzzies!

That is Newcastle! So let's go down there and f*** up the Storm this Saturday!
Great post

f**k I love that gif of Ennis. I lol every time I see it
He should be ashamed of himself for that BS, trying to milk a penalty , if every player starts doing this ( and I suspect they are ) we are on a slippery slide to hell. The end of the game as we know it. It will become touch or tag football very quickly. Ennis should be outed for this blatant androtop act. Hard men play footy and Ennis is a skirt.

It's pretty simple really. If a player goes down, and replays show they're very obviously faking, then penalise them.

I don't understand how the refs miss some of the high shots lately. They are flush across the face and nothing happens until the player stays down and the video ref has a look. I think if the refs were more onto that players would be less likely to stay down if they're not actually hurt.

How often do they give high tackle penalties when it is clear all the players were playing on as it was a grasp or a tap?

A guy gets a swinging arm and they dont see it.....

I hate whining about the refs, but they dont help themselves.

I still don't understand this thread title...

I first saw this sort of post (in before, or in b4) back when threads were so blatantly against the rules that they would no doubt be locked.

people wouldnt respond to the post with "in b4 lock".

This has evolved to in before X, where x stands for an easily anticipated response.

In this case, in before sack Bennett.

I love the thread title as Mac was able to correctly predict the massive amount of people calling for Wayne to be sacked after a couple of bad games.

Ah, thanks for clearing that up.

I was thinking it was a typo, but it's actually quite clever.

My best wishes for your encounter with the Storm this evening.

Gee with so many Saints ex-players on the field, I almost feel at home, LOL.

Congrats on a good win last night. Nice to see so many of our old players do well. Good luck against the chooks next week.

p.s. Do let us know when you plan to sack Uncle Wayne? After all that is what this thread is all about. Think you have a few with egg on their faces this morning.

Weren't you the bloke hanging around in here last season telling everyone Bennett and Tinkler would never get along and Bennett wouldn't see out his contract and the arrangement would never work?? I'll have to find that thread.....

Yeah that's me. But I never said Uncle Wayne could not coach. But a goodly amount of your lot did. Changed your minds have we???
