and of course full respect

Here is my beef, This man a 300 gamer who played under many great coaches, was given a shyte sandwich, had no make up of the team, haad no breathing room, was given a bunch of high paid duds, who when pushed "you should retire", went full white ant.
Do you remember how he got to 300 games?
He could barely play on one leg for the last 10 or 15 of them but our club, and Flanno, showed him respect and played him anyway so he could get to that milestone. As soon as he got there he retired.
Funny how he could not show the same respect to Fifita. Arguably one of our best forwards ever, and everyone's MOM in the GF. If he would have shown the same respect to whom you are calling a white ant, then maybe the negativity would not have come through. This shows his inexperience that I had pointed out.
This "shyte sandwich" of a team was constantly in a position to be competing in the top 4. As soon as Morris came in our long time standards dropped significantly, I've already addressed this.
This is a man who the young blokes love, only one, Will went better, he finally had got the keys and despite what any of us thinks, we do not know nor will ever know what he would have done, sign Woods who knows, sign Nicho, we will never know, never had a chance to make his own roster. You all think you know what he would he but you do not.
You don't think Trindall, Tracey, Williams, Metcalfe, improved after Morris was gone??
They were all in the 17 with Hannay.
Magoulious went backwards under Morris, he chose his favourite Brailey, B1 has gone significantly better away from Morris' coaching, B2 does not look anywhere near as good as when he was younger.
Nicho is on record in saying that Cronulla was not on his radar until Fitz rang him and blew the others away with his vision.
Finucane took advice from Bellamy to come to the Sharks and play under Fitz.
Going by reports, Morris did not have any kind of input, or talks, with McInnes until the very late stages, and even then it was mainly to reassure Blayke that he wasn't losing his job, another very inexperienced decision, keep them hungry, make them keen, make them behave like men, not sulking children.
Fred's dog and the highest paid duds, ensured we will never know.

At least some of the duds Flanno sighed are gone.

One Leg on $850k remains, maybe he will play this year, Fitz is better yeah white ant.
You say how no one here really knows what would have gone on in the club, yet here you are making your own assumptions. Pot/kettle.

I know you are a huge fan of SJ, but you do realise that a helluva lot of Sharks fans would include him as one of "the duds that Flanno signed are gone"? Don't you?

Moyza obviously impressed Fitz with some sort of humility and respect, something your little hero, SJ, showed none of, so Moyza got a contract.

Gotta say I've got no idea how morris got to 300 games, he was a fairly ordinary player his whole career. Except weirdly that 1 game he played on the wing for Newcastle and completely dominated Lote Tuqiri

You mean our player of the year in 2020?

I made no assumptions, I do not know who he would have kept or picked up. Never got the chance.

One leg was great in 2016, done nothing but collect cheques since and Matt Prior was M O M

I look forward to him leaving and having no influence, he can go hangout with Dugan.

As for John's career, someone kept picking him and he knows how to put boots on.

Lol moyza, what a dud he has been, hurt my hamstring typing that

And A-Fi was our player of the year in 2016 with Prior. You treat Players of the year different according to your faves. SJ was shyte this year and you've never even entered that into why he was, or wasn't signed. You have double standards.

A-Fi was signed for a lot of money and got injured after that, just like SJ, again double standards towards favouritism.

Morris was handed his 300 games on a platter, I would have thought that type of culture would have rubbed off on him, obviously not.

When Moyza was 5/8 we finished 4th on the table and got into a Prelim Final.
SJ at 5/8, we just went further and further backwards. 7th, 8th, then this useless year where he just left the team, whilst he was still under contract, then whinged about not being paid because he'd left on his own accord. SJ is a full of himself f**king wanker, not a team player

Yep absolutely. Fickle on the player of the year. Glad he left.

Anyways maybe in 5 years after Fitz gets to build a team.

FTR McIness is a dud not sure why anyone is excited, he is average.

One leg deserved 2016 honours he was great, never said otherwise. so was Gallen, Lewis, Ennis and Wadi but done nothing since. nothing on the field, shadow of the player he once was and when told...well.

I can agree with him dropping off, It was plain to see to everyone.
He was "told"?
Well there ya go.
Would anyone like being "told" to retire when he has given his all for the club, plus he had a set himself up over last off season because he was "told" to get himself fitter. Then to be "told" he wasnt wanted anymore.
Maybe, just maybe, if Morris had treated him with more respect and had talked with him, not "told" him then maybe things may have been more congenial.
But hey, I dont know how it panned out, you are the one saying he was "told" to go

Edit: and you would be aware that A-Fi was involved with the signing of Nicho? The Club, with both A-Fi and Nicho had lunch in a restaurant and got his signature.
The club respects Fifita, Morris didnt

Average...

I always forget Nicho is Jesus to fluffies.
I never had you to be a poster that would resort to the name calling in what I consider a healthy debate. And a debate that is needed to be fought out in the off season, just to keep this place alive.

First beer is yours, just talking.

You are pretty fluffy on Fitz and as I say, the replacement was never an issue.

Nicho has plenty of potential.

My fluffiness on Fitz is all in hope. IE: hope he becomes our version of a Robbo/Bellamy/Bennett. Too soon? Maybe, but his genetics plus apprenticeship gives me hope.
I tell ya what, my fluffiness for him doesn't even come close to yours and the wanker, SJ. No way on earth would my fluff for a player declare a change of teams and displaying their jersey as an avatar.
If you wanna go the fluff route well then you are the both The King and Queen when it comes to that hyped up show pony.

Fair enough, my love for Stacey and Shaun is no secret. I like my kiwis, they are better than Victorians by a long way.

Sorensen got a ring, Chad got the cash.

How long before the fans turn on the coach, we will see.

The new coach should be bring some grit and honesty back to the team, something desperately needed.
Blame over the last few seasons performances can lie anywhere which doesn’t really matter now.
The squad and the coach lost me with that utter pathetic semi final performance at Brookvale a few years back against the a very beatable injury ravaged Manly.
I’d say the board were lost too.
