Fair call but I would suggest that we didn’t have a lot of luck in the cows semi and if we do win that game and get the week off that it’s a different ballgame. Think the whole playing group learned a lot from the last couple of games tbh....and possibly even the coaching staff. Unfinished business imo.

Just a guess but the club would be looking at the rest of the league and seeing some of the illustrious coaches in charge of clubs and seeing the cupboard is pretty bare and if he were to go a decent replacement may not be available. Hook, sheens, o'brien etc having top jobs shows this.

I dont say it often, I dont think I ever have tbh. I reckon we looked the fittest team in the trial matches. So they must have had a good pre-season, we wont be under done and we need to be with our first 2 games V Souffs and Parra.

I went back as far as 2010, only times were 2021 and the game against the titans in 2013 which was like the day after the asada crap broke and it was an us against the world fk you everyone type win.

lost to the raiders last year 24-19 right on the bell.

Traditionally we are not fast starters to the season. Souffs are a huge test. I reckon they are a top 4 team. A win against them in Round 1 will be huge if we can pull it off.
