cant get into any bands that have an electronic drummer
Drum machines can be cool when used properly. The Prodigy for example rock harder than many "rock" acts, and other acts do stuff with them that you just couldn't do with a human drummer. They're not a replacement for a drummer as they give a different sound and feel.

I actually know of a sonfg that uses a sample of a washing machine as part of the rhythm, it's called "Wedding Song" by The Front Lawn. It's more of a quirky pop track though. At the end of the day you can use anything to create a rhythm, who really cares as long as it sounds good!

nothing creates a groove and variation like a real drummer
Depends on the feel you want. If you want something to sound mechanical or futuristic, a drum machine often works better. If you want it to have warmth and groove in the more traditional sense then a human drummer is probably better. You can't say either is objectively better than the other, just more suitable for a particular type of music.

a real drummer is good for rock pop jazz classical country dance any form of music really

a drum machine is good for maybe dance

a drummer therefor inconclusion is much more versatile and therefor superior to a drum machine

drum machines are used in all of the electrinic and industrial genres, not just dance music. It's a pointless comparison anyway, like trying to say that electric guitars are better than acoustic or vice versa. Just because an electric guitar is more versatile in terms of the sound you can extract from it doesn't make it better.

actually electric and acoustic guitars are found in all types of music

drum machines are limited to an extremely narrow range of music

there for drummers are superior to drum machines

Youd argue that the earth was flat and the moon was made of green cheese if it presented the opportunity for a good scrap wouldn't you Millers?

Now you're wrong. As Millers pointed out, a drum machine can't provide the swing and feel of a real drummer, it's too perfectly precise. Conversely a real drummer can never attain the absolute precision of a drum machine, and of course their are some patterns a human couldn't possibly play. It's a pointless comparison.

A drum machine can't spin a stick around it's fingers or throw one out into the audience either.

It may be able to spontaneously combust, though.
